Episode #3*

     Miranda's heartbroken as Fabricio explains how he and her sister fell in love. She tells him it can't compare to what they lived. Florencia fears what Miranda will do as Berta assures her she won't do anything as Renata isn't so sure. Berta advises her wrong and says to walk over Miranda for Fabricio. Pamela arrives and asks for Miranda as she asks Florenica is she's okay. As she leaves Berta assures Florencia her father will approve her wedding to Fabricio. Nuria arrives at the ranch with the partnership papers between Gonzalo and Alejandro Luque. Gonzalo says that Cesar forgot them and Nuria realizes she made a mistake. Miranda cries and says it can't be true and everything will return back to normal soon. She kisses Fabricio and begs him not to leave her. Gonzalo gets after Cesar and tells him Nuria is very smart and could take his place.

     As Fabricio leaves Miranda yells at him saying she's not a little girl but a woman who loves him. At that moment Alejandro arrives and tells her she's a woman not for a boy like Fabricio but a man like him and will one day scream that she loves him. He kisses her and she slaps him and calls him stupid. 'Not as stupid as my friend Fabricio' he tells her. He tells her he can't believe she's causing such a big commotion for a stolen kiss. She answers back saying that no one steals anything from her that she can't recover and kisses him. He smiles at her boldness as she walks away.

     Gonzalo thinks of what Berta told her concerning his eldest daughter as guests greet him. A furious Cesar attacks Nuria. Pamela tries to get Miranda to calm down. Cesar rapes Nuria. Miranda rides off on her horse. Florencia tells Fabricio she isn't going to marry him as Cesar arrives and confronts him. Berta tells Cesar he can now go after Miranda as she keeps on riding. Tomasa finds Nuria but she doesn't tell her what happened. Gonzalo meets with Fabricio and Alejandro.

     Miranda tells Pamela that Berta is behind everything and isn't going to cancel the wedding. Gonzalo tells Fabricio to tell him what he wants to when they return to Mexico and Alejandro agrees with him. Berta tells Florencia lies that Miranda said about her. Miranda thanks Pamela for her support. As they walk through the property they see Fabricio and Florencia kissing and tells her sister she hid her secret very well.

Episode #5*

     Fernanda tells Miranda her name is Dr. Fernanda Fernandez so she won't know she's her mother. Miranda asks her why she's so emotional as she covers saying she's glad to know there's still donors like her. She asks her if they've met before as Fernanda says she's known who she is but covers saying she's always read about her in newspapers and knows she's marrying Fabricio Beltran. She becomes sad and tells her she's not getting married anymore. She runs away as the nurse asks Fernanda why she used a different name and tells her if anyone asks for Dr. Fernandez to call her. Gonzalo tells Ramon why they haven't closed the clinic and orders him to do it already. Berta arrives and he asks for Nuria and learns she's already left. She bends down to kiss him and he tells her he's not drunk and not to touch him saying someone might see them.

     Fernanda apologizes to Miranda as they talk about each other. The ladies hit it off as they become comfortable with each other. Gonzalo visits with Florencia and asks her to forgive him for not being there for her and her sisters. She's unable to tell him about Fabricio as he says he'll give his life for hers. Alejandro tells Fabricio that despite her personality Miranda is a beautiful woman. He recalls the time he told Miranda that 5 years would fly by and would marry when he returned. He tells his friend how he fell in love with Florencia during the times that Berta took her to see specialists in Europe for her heart condition. He admits to Alejandro that he's confused as he tells him to make a decision because he's hurting two sisters. Cesar arrives and tells Alejandro they have to leave.

     Miranda tells Pamela that her talk with Fernanda helped her tremendously. Charo informs Miranda her father has arrived. Miranda delays telling her father about Fabricio and Pamela tells her not to show her feelings to Berta. Fernanda is informed she has 48 hours to leave the clinic and is threatened. Berta and Miranda throw jabs at each other. Berta leaves and Miranda tells her father she knows he and Berta are lovers and to throw her out and he agrees. Not knowing Berta hears everything and decides to get revenge on her niece where it hurts; Chocolate, her horse. She has him beaten in a horrific way.

     Cesar takes Alejandro to the clinic and leaves. He swears at Gonzalo for closing down the clinic and decides to go against him. He sees Fernanda and asks her who is in charge and she starts attacking him verbally thinking he's there to throw her out. Gonzalo orders Gabino to look for the jaguar that 'attacked' Chocolate. Miranda asks to be alone with him and cries telling him he's not going to suffer anymore. Fernanda apologizes to Alejandro as he learns the situation concerning the clinic. He offers to help her as she says he's helped enough by listening to her. She realizes they haven't been introduced. Alejandro is shocked to hear her name and asks her if she's the woman that Alfredo Luque loved. She asks him how he knows that and he tells her he's Alfredo's son Alejandro, the boy she comforted when his mother died. Fernanda can't believe it as they hug each other.

Episode #7

     Miranda and Berta insult each other. Renata tells Florencia that Miranda is interested in Alejandro. Fernanda meets with Alejandro and he begs her not to let Gonzalo know in any way that he's helping her. He tells her how Daira found his father near death by the river and only died 10 months earlier. He asks her if she has her father's portfolio and she tells him she left that night with what she was wearing and a rosary the cocoa workers gave her. He tells her it contains notarized papers in a secret compartment. Miranda arrives to talk to Fabricio as he talks to Florencia.

     Miranda tells Fabricio how she feels and to help her pick up the pieces. They kiss but he pushes her away and he tells her that was a goodbye but she denies to accept it. Florencia tells Berta she feels guilty as she tells her to ask her sister to help her with her wedding. Pamela tells Miranda to forget Fabricio but she denies to. At the clinic she learns they're closing it down and that Alejandro and Gonzalo are behind it all. Alejandro tells Fernanda that Gonzalo doesn't know his father's name. He promises her that Gonzalo will pay for what he did and she begs him not to do it.

     Naty awakens and confuses Miranda with Fernanda and says her full name, Fernanda de Aragon. Cesar blames Julio of a financial situation to Gonzalo. Florencia's doctor confirms to Gonzalo that Florencia's dying. Miranda wants to talk to Naty when Alejandro arrives. She confronts him for closing the clinic as he tells her he'll tell Gonzalo of her goodwill as she begs him not to. She gives him his cell phone and tells him he had an important phone call but doesn't tell him who called and tells him she's not his secretary. Rebeca talks to Gonzalo and tells him that Fabricio isn't going to marry Miranda, but Florencia.

     Lizania explains to Alejandro why she told Miranda why she was his daughter and not his sister and he applauds what she did. She asks her brother if they can move to Mexico and he agrees. Gonzalo demands an explanation from Rebeca and tells her that Miranda will survive what has happened and that Florencia is dying therefore she and Fabricio will marry as soon as possible. Rebeca tells him to tell Fernanda about her daughter but he denies to saying it would be her worst punishment.

     Miranda scolds Berta for entering her room and can't believe it when she asks her to help Florencia with her wedding. She tells her she's only going to prepare hers and throws her out. Berta asks her to do it because she's dying. She calls her a liar and a snake and slaps her. Berta slaps her back when Renata arrives. Miranda decides to take her older sister to a doctor as Berta tells her to do it. Pamela tells her to give her the benefit of the doubt since she doesn't believe she'll lie about Florencia dying. Berta tells Renata to tell Florencia that Miranda has agreed to help her with her wedding. When she leaves she changes Florencia's pills with other ones and says she waited too long to get rid of the three sisters and thinks of Alejandro.

     Florencia apologizes to Miranda as she covers her true feelings. She feels bad for her suffering and tells her if she tells her she won't marry Fabricio. Alejandro's advice bothers Fabricio but he tells him he's supporting him in his own way and that love was made for romantics not a man like him. Florencia confesses to Miranda that she already slept with Fabricio. When she leaves she tears up all her invitations and cries. Berta tells Florencia that Miranda's suffering is worth it. Miranda wakes up to find Alejandro in her room. Pamela learns Fernanda is Miranda's mother.

Episode #9

     Miranda tells Gonzalo that Florencia's condition is so serious that under no circumstances is she to get pregnant. Gonzalo informs his daughter that Berta is gone. Fernanda informs Alejandro she's not leaving the neighborhood. Florencia asks Gonzalo for forgiveness as he tells her to prepare her wedding. She tells him she wants to have a child but he tells her to enjoy her marriage first but she insists that she wants to become a mother. Cesar keeps manipulating Miranda and tells her lies about Fabricio. Berta overhears them talking and then calls Florencia. She tells her she won't be returning as Florencia starts to feel bad. Cesar consoles a crying Miranda. He kisses her and she fights him to stop. Alejandra arrives and pulls him off of her as Fabricio witnesses it all.

     Miranda denies to Alejandro that Cesar was bothering her. She tells him it's weird to always see him everywhere she goes as he says not to him, that it's a pleasure everytime he sees her. She leaves and Alejandro's surprised when Cesar tells him he's going to marry Miranda and tells him to leave. Fabricio tells him he's his boss and he says that Gonzalo is his only boss as Alejandro tells him he owes him respect and orders him to stay away from Miranda and leaves.

     Tomasa finds an unconscious Florencia and yells for Gonzalo. Alejandro catches up to Miranda and offers to accompany her but she turns him down. He asks her if she's marrying Cesar abd she tells him not to worry about her and to take care of his wife and daughter. As she leaves he receives a call about the new home for all the patients. He then tells himself he promises he'll make Miranda's pride disappear. Fernanda tallks to her friend Amparo (Beatriz Moreno) about Florencia. They talk about her past and she recalls how Berta came between her and Alfredo Luque. Fernanda decides to look for Tomasa. Renata defends Berta to Gonzalo. Tomasa convinces Gonzalo to call Fabricio. As he fights with Cesar he receives the call and leaves. Berta assures Cesar that Alejandro is no problem, to leave him to her.

     Renata convinces Gonzalo to let Berta return so Florencia can get better. Fabricio arrives and tells him that under no circumstances is Florencia to get pregnant and he promises to use protection. Miranda arrives and begs her father not to yell at Fabricio because she still loves him. The next morning Miranda tells Fabricio she knows he's marrying her sister for pity and he calls her vile. Florencia awakens and thanks her sister for all she's doing for her and the only way to do it is with her life. Miranda cries and says she can have Fabricio but doesn't want her to die.

     Gonzalo wonders where Fernanda is hiding with all her patients. Gonzalo tells Fabricio that he'll never forgive what he did and tells him of the night he found his wife with another man. Fernanda tells Alejandro she'll be the head of cardiology with one condition, that she treat Florencia and he agrees. Berta has her surgery. Florencia learns Miranda is giving her dress away and asks her if she can have it. At first she says no but tells her she can have it. Miranda assures Florencia that Berta will return. When she leaves she tells Renata that she knows she's against her.

     Rebeca defends Gonzalo to Fabricio. Miranda tells Pamela about her wedding dress as Pamela hopes Berta never returns. Cesar tells Nuria that she provokes him to treat her the way he does. Julio (Luis Coutuier) learns he's about to be thrown off the board. Pamela has a problem with a member of the museum. Renata complains to Erica about Miranda. Later, she complains to Cesar and asks him if she can move in with him.

Episode #11

     Tomasa tells Miranda her mother was a victim of Berta's like she was. Cesar complains to Rebeca on why she gave Fabricio her ring and not him since he's the oldest. Fabricio calls him silly as he says it's his fault that Gonzalo treats him badly. He promises that no one will treat him badly anymore. Tomasa explains to Miranda that her mother loved an older man who was a widower with a son and that when Berta fell in love with him she told her father who arranged the marriage between her mother and Gonzalo. Miranda swears at her mother saying she abandoned them to defend her love but she can't do it when Gonzalo arrives. He thanks Tomasa for being there for his daughters. Gonzalo tells his daughters he wants to talk to them since it's the last time they'll be together as his family. He tells them he might not have been the best father but will give up his life for any one of them. He tells them he has to confess to them their mother didn't disappear and they tell him that Berta told them she left with another man. He also confesses to them that he hasn't divorced their mother and still loves her.

     Amparo tells Fernanda that Gonzalo still loves her as she says his form of treating her is not love. She tells her she preferred to die instead of suffering all those years as Amparo reminds her Gonzalo saw her kissing another man. She tells her he never let her explain as she recalls that night. Fernanda (Calderon) tells Alfredo (Peniche) to leave. He tells her he's taking his son to Italy and is taking her with him. She tells him she loves Gonzalo as he kisses her. He tells her she can take her daughters with her and kisses her when Gonzalo walks in. Amparo asks Fernanda how Alfredo got into the house in the first place.

     Miranda tells Gonzalo that her mother is paying for what she did to them as he assures her she is. At that moment Pamela arrives with Alejandro. Cesar laughs at Fabricio for threatening him and supporting their mother. Fabricio learns his mother signed over power of attorney to Cesar. Miranda tells Pamela she can't believe her father still loves her mother after what she did as Pamela tells her she's the same, she still loves Fabricio after what he did to her. Pamela asks her what she did do if she saw her again. She tells her she and her sisters weren't born from love therefore their mother left with no problems since she never loved them. Pamela tells her friend she's not aware of the situation between her parents.

     Raul (Rodrigo Tejeda) tells Juan (Ernesto D'Alessio) not to cross the border illegally as Juan tells him they need money. Raul tells him he'll drop out of school so he can finish his studies as a doctor but he insists he's leaving. Joel, Amparo and Fernanda arrive for dinner. With everyone present Fabricio asks for Florencia's hand. As the couple's serenated Miranda can't take it anymore and leaves. Alejandro follows her and tells her she has to be strong. He tries console her and tells her no one dies from love and she asks him if he's making fun of her and he says he would never make fun of anyone's suffering.

     Amparo cries over Juan's decision as Francisco (Jose Elias Moreno)is against it. Fernanda tells Juan to give her a couple of days to see what she can do. Alejandro tells Miranda that life's too short to cry. She tells him he doesn't understand as he says love doesn't kill you it only leaves wounds. She tells him the wounds of love can only be cured with tears. He tells her he wants to understand and to make him a wound of love as they kiss. Renata asks Pamela how she feels about Alejandro as she says she's falling in love with him. Renata seeing the couple kissing and tells her it's too late since Miranda already took him from her. Pamela recalls the time her friend told her she wasn't interested in Alejandro and confronts her friend. Both ladies lead as Renata make fun of the whole scene.

     Gonzalo gives Florencia a honeymoon trip as a gift. Miranda goes after Pamela and she tells her Alejandro kissed her. She tells her it doesn't matter, what she doesn't want is for her to say one thing and do another and if she's interested in Alejandro she'll move aside because she doesn't want to fall in love with him and then learn her best friend is also. Florencia and Fabricio arrive and she wishes them well. Francisco tells his sister that he's not letting his sons drop their studies and will figure out what to do and then decides to retire and open up a small business. The next morning Julio tells Gonzalo he's worried about the London exchange as Gonzalo tells him not to. Renata asks Tomasa if she knows where Berta might be as she recovers. She calls Renata as Miranda grabs the phone from her and apologizes and asks her to return. She pretends to be hurt and tells her she'll think about it.

     Cesar tells his brother he's going to live at the ranch with Miranda. Fabricio tells his that for his mother he's capable of anything and will give Miranda a ray of hope to separate her from him. Julio meets Alejandro and he asks him about his father and he tells him he knows who tried to kill him. They talk about business and Alejandro tells him big movements in the exchange will bring many problems. He orders Cesar to go ahead with what they agreed on.

Gonzalo asks Julio how he knows Alejandro's father and he says he doesn't know much.

     Florencia tries on her wedding dress. Miranda wonders how she can keep Florencia and Fabricio near by. Florencia tells her she knows she kissed Alejandro and that she's happy she can look another man. Julio tells Gonzalo how Alfredo Luque made his fortune. Tomasa meets with Fernanda. Miranda learns Alejandro wants to buy a house. Cesar arrives and wants to talk to Miranda. Tomasa talks to Fernanda about her daughters. Miranda tells Cesar not to talk about his love for her and if he touches her again she'll fire him. Alejandro talks to Gonzalo and he tells him to finish with the man who ruined his father's life and to get him where it hurts the most, his children and loves ones.

   Episode #13

     Fernanda learns Florencia's pregnant and that will complicate her condition. Dr. Benjamin Cohen (Hector Saez) the director of the hospital arrives and asks her too see the results she has in her hands. Juan asks Amaparo if someone named Roman has been asking questions but she denies knowing him. Fabricio worries what Miranda's reaction will be during the wedding. Alejandro informs his family that if the financial crisis in London affects businesses in Mexico they might have to go back to Italy. Benjamin tells Fernanda that Florencia's chances of getting to full term are unimaginable and that even if she gets to her 5th month it would be a miracle. She confesses to him that the patient is her daughter. Miranda tells Tomasa she's leaving town and not attending the wedding. Tomasa tries to talk her out of it.

     Juan leaves for work but forgets his name badge. Carola arrives and tells Amparo a client beat her. Alejandro plans his next move as he thinks of his conversation with Gonzalo. Miranda cries as she looks at a picture of Fabricio. Alejandro says he's going to do what Fabricio asked of him and wonders if it's the right time to attack. Miranda thinks back to the day Fabricio broke her heart and she met Alejandro. She says she can never be with a man like Alejandro and says he has no heart. Dr. Cohen offers his support to Fernanda. Carola talks to Amparo of her love for Juan when he arrives and checks her bruises. Fabricio suggests to Rebeca that she and Julio should marry but she says it's too late. Renata tells Miranda that Berta called and said if she was attending the wedding she wasn't going to attend. She begs her not to tell Florencia when she arrives and asks what is it she can't know.

     Miranda covers and tells Renata to call Berta not to worry, she'll send her pictures of the wedding because she's going and to also tells her if something happens to her sister if she doesn't attend she'll make her pay. Fabricio tells Rebeca he doesn't want Cesar at his wedding and she agrees when Julio arrives. Fernanda checks on Carola and tells her to protect herself. Fernanda tells Amparo she's going to do everything in her power so her daughter can have her baby. Francisco learns he's out of a job due to the financial crisis. Tomasa tells Charo the financial crisis affects everyone. Gonzalo learns of his financial situation. Julio tells Rebeca he doesn't know who bought the reserved shares and that his late wife's fortune is gone.

     Alejandro takes care of his financial situation and orders his financial adviser to come to Mexico. Miranda and Alejandro think of each other as they get ready to go to Tabasco. Gonzalo tells Florencia he wants to talk to her doctor as he tells Miranda he has to take care of business first before he reaches them in Tabasco. Both Miranda and Gonzalo believe Berta won't attend the wedding. Amparo learns all the prices at the market have gone up. Roman pays Amparo's debt with the butcher. Julio can't believe that Gonzalo is so calm concerning the economic crisis. Francisco's co-workers learn of their situation. Gonzalo's informed that all the exchanges opened with a loss.

  Episode #15

     Berta's shocked when she sees Fernanda. She's about to confront her when Alejandro stops her. Cesar finds the designs in Berta's things but doesn't give them any importance and leaves. Gonzalo threatens Fernanda and she tells him she knows what he's capable of. She recalls that night as she (Calderon) awakens to find Alfredo (Peniche) shot. Gonzalo (Ferrara) orders his wife to leave without her daughters and promises she'll pay for what she did to him. Gonzalo tells Fernanda to leave his house or he'll tell his daughters who she is and she tells him she'll tell them he's a murderer.

     Pamela tells Miranda she can't beleive Berta showed up in white as her friend tells her she wants to be the center of attention as she wonders what Fernanda and her father are talking about. Alejandro asks Rebeca about Cesar. Berta turns Renata and Florencia against Fernanda saying she's after Gonzalo. Later, she confronts Fernanda and she defends herself asking her why she put Florencia between Miranda and Fabricio and didn't tell Gonzalo about Renata's drug problem when Miranda arrives and tells them everything's ready for the ceremony to begin. Berta asks Gonzalo what he plans to do to get rid of Fernanda as he says she should figure something out like she did that night and refuses to apologize to her.

     Fabricio tells Alejandro he plans to tell Florencia on their honeymoon about the baby. Miranda arrives and asks to talk to him. She tells him how she feels and to explain to every guest who talk behind her back why he's marrying her sister and not her. She reminds him that no once has he said Im sorry to her and hopes he's unhappy as the music begins. She then tells God she didn't mean it and wishes him well. Gonzalo escorts Florencia to the altar as Miranda tales her seat between Pamela and Alejandro. The cermony begins as Alejandro tells her to be strong and stops her from leaving. She recalls the night she told Fabricio she didn't want to sleep with him until they were married. The wedding continues as she sees herself in Florencia's place.

     Everyone congratulates Florencia but she rejects Fernanda who blames Berta for her change in attitude. Lizania tells Alejandro that Miranda loves another man when Berta arrives. Lizania notices Berta's necklace and Alejandro recognizes them as his father's work. As she leaves he tells his sister they found his father's sketches. Gonzalo tells Fernanda to leave but she denies to and tells him Florencia is pregnant. Miranda congratulates Florencia but faints when she hugs Fabricio. At that moment Cesar appears.

     Fabricio asks Pamela to look for Fernanda when Alejandro arrives and carries her into the house. Cesar's surprised at Berta's new look as Fabricio orders his brother to leave. The Jimenez family pawn all their goods. Miranda dreams that she's with Alejandro in a romantic setting. As he leans over to kiss her Berta appears and asks him what he's doing when Miranda awakens. Gonzalo tells Cesar they need to talk as Berta insults Miranda. Alejandro tells Fernanda that Miranda's fine as she promises she's going to recover her daughters.

     Miranda tells Berta there's nothing between her and Alejandro but if there was who would she put between them, her sister Renata she asks her. Berta tells her none of them are women enough for Alejandro as Miranda says now she understands that she wants him. She laughs at her saying Alejandro will never be interested in her no matter how many surgeries she gets. Florencia tells Fernanda she's going back to her old doctor when Berta and Miranda arrive. In order to make Berta angry she asks ALejandro to dance. Berta insults Daira and Fernanda tells her if anyone knows about being with Alfredo Luque it's Daira since she was his wife. Berta calls her a liar saying he never married after he became a widower and died before he could re-marry. Both women asks her if she's sure he died that night and she tells them he was because she saw him and he was dead. Fernanda tells her to think what she wants but she doesn't believe them.

     Miranda thanks Alejandro for his support. Gonzalo offers Cesar his job back. Lizania meets Gonzalo and Cesar. Gonzalo confronts Renata about her drug problem as she blames Miranda for telling him. Miranda tells her she didn't say a word as Gonzalo tells her it was Fernanda who told him. Fernanda talks to Daira and tells her how she fell in love with Gonzalo after her father arranged her marriage to separate her from Alfredo. Daira tells her Alfredo always thought of her and offers to be her friend. Berta questions Tomasa about that night as she threatens to hurt her granddaughter. Fernanda makes a confession to Daira, that Florencia is Alfredo Luque's daughter and not Gonzalo's. Alejandro overhears hears her and asks her if Florencia is his sister.

  Episode #17

     Miranda tells Berta that Alejandro is with her therefore he can't take her home and orders her not to leave the house. He leaves and Berta tells her niece it's the first and last time she talks to her that way. She tells her to be quiet and to follow her but she stays behind. Alejandro talks to Gonzalo about their partnership. Miranda tells Pamela that she'd like to get closer to Fernanda and help her. Pamela becomes nervous when she tells her she's going to investigate her. Alejandro explains to Gonzalohow he protects his investments with gold and precious gems and will show him how to do it. Gonzalo offers him a chance to enter the business of exporting cocoa/chocolate if their business deal falls through. He tells him he's interested if Miranda agrees to it. Gonzalo tells Renata he's cancelling her credit cards and will have bodyguards with her from now on.

     Fernanda denies to tell Rebeca who is protecting her. She leaves and Cesar orders Rebeca and all her guests to leave the ranch and tells her what Fabricio told Miranda. Gonzalo asks Miranda why Renata's into drugs if she has everything. Miranda tells him maybe she needed her mother and to find a solution. Daira assures Fernanda that Gonzalo will know who is protecting her when Alejandro wants him to know. They also wonder if they made a mistake telling Berta that Daira was married to Alfredo when Alejandro arrives.

     Gonzalo starts to drink and Miranda tells him that she also has problems but doesn't hide behind the bottle. He understands what she's trying to tell him and apologizes to her. He blames himself for her suffering and she tells him tommorrow is another day. Alone, Miranda wonders what Fabricio meant. Alejandro can't sleep as he says he'll keep his promise to Florencia; he'll keep Miranda away from Fabricio and the way to do it is to marry her.

     Renata tells Miranda to keep Fernanda away from her family, especially her father. Miranda tells Tomasa to gather all the employees together. Gonzalo confronts Berta as she explains why she lied to his daughters why their mother left. He assures her she's only there as long as Florencia's alive. He reminds her of everything she did as she says it's all against Fernanda. She offers to help him and kisses him but he pushes her away. As he leaves she says he'll make her suffer like she will his daughters.

     Miranda tells all the employees she's the only one that gives orders and no one else. She then confronts Berta about what she did to her and her mother and demands to know the name of the man. She answers saying he's dead but doesn't tell him his name. Tomasa and Gonzalo talk about Fernanda and he says his daughters will never know who she is. Tomasa tells her to talk to her as he asks her if Fernanda ever loved him and she answers that she did and he says she didn't or she would have never cheated on him when Miranda arrives.

     Carola visits Juan and tells him of Raul's plan to join Sanson's gang. Miranda asks Tomasa what Berta has over Gonzalo and says he'll never marry her because he'll never divorce her mother. Miranda asks Gabino if Berta was responsible for Chocolate's death and he doesn't answer. Berta arrives andtells him to gather all the workers as Miranda leaves to meet Cesar. He tells her San Llorente Enterprises in near bankruptcy. Juan tells Carola he'll talk to his brother. Fernanda talks to Daira, Pamela and Tomasa. Pamela tells her of Miranda's plans to talk to Fr. Buenaventura. Berta tells the workers she gives the orders and lies to them telling them Miranda doesn't want to give them a raise.

     Cesar tells Miranda that Alejandro was the only one who didn't lose in the exchange. Gonzalo assures Alejandro his partnership with him is still intact. Pamela, Tomasa and Daira advise Fernanda to tell Miranda who she is as Renata sees them. Cesar kisses Lizania. Renata tells Berta of seeing Alejandro and Miranda kissing. Miranda arrives from riding and she sees Alejandro and insults him.

  Episode #19

     Florencia slaps Fabricio when he tells her the baby she's expecting will not be born. Alejandro tells Fernanda not to worry; his uncle will do what's right. He denies to give up his plans for revenge or to keep secret that Florencia is his sister. Fabricio tries to explain to Florencia that she could have problems with her pregnancy because of her heart but she tells him he's lying and that he really loves Miranda and not her. She tells him they're returning to Mexico and that she's having her baby with or wothout him.

     Santiage gives comfort to Miranda as she asks him about Fernanda. He recalls what Alejandro and Fernanda asked of him. He asks Miranda if she recalls her mother and she talks bad about her. Santiago now understands Fernanda's worries. Fernanda asks Alejandro about his feelings for Miranda but he tells her he's not interested in her in the way she thinks. She begs him to forget his revenge as she begins to waver. He tells her of Gonzalo's call to Dr. Cohen as he tells her he'll stop when he gets what's coming to him. Santiago counsels Miranda as he begs God to forgive him for lying.

     Cesar makes business deals on his own. He tells Luis Alberto that Gonzalo re-hired as he tells him to help him fix the books. He looks at a picture of Miranda and says she'll be his. Julio tells Gonzalo he made a mistake re-hiring Cesar. He reminds him he betrayed his friendship. Cesar keeps manilpulating Nuria so he can listen in on Gonzalo and Julio's conversation. They insult each other as Julio tells Gonzalo he's unaware who bought the reserved shares.

     Miranda arrives at the office followed by Alejandro. Gonzalo gets an urgent call as Miranda tells Alejandro he's prohibited from the company and he tells her he prohibits her from visiting his uncle and smiles. Gonzalo informs them Florencia and Fabricio are returning to Mexico because she learned she's pregnant and Miranda's surprised.

     Gonzalo explains to Miranda that he knew Florencia was pregnant before she left on her honeymoon. Alejandro explains to her it happened before Fabricio knew his wife was dying. Gonzalo denies to tell Florencia she's dying as he asks Miranda what she would do in her sister's place. Crying she says she would have her child even if she lost her life. Gonzalo tells her not to cry anymore and orders her to leave him with Alejandro. He tells Gonzalo he was hard on Miranda as he says he has to be or she'll break and doesn't want to suffer anymore.

     Miranda meets with Cesar as he lies to her. She plans to ask for a loan as she recalls what her father just told her and tells him she has to leave. She learns why Alejandro is with Gonzalo as she asks Cesar to see a copy of the contract between her father and Alejandro. Berta introduces her dog Lucas to Renata as Tomasa and Charo why she even got a dog. Charo informs Renata that her bodyguards have arrived.

     Alejandro tells Gonzalo he can wait on payment on the contract. Gonzalo asks his partner what his intentions are with his daughter. He tells him he's attracted to her but she's still in love with Fabricio. Gonzalo asks him if he doesn't think he's capable of wooing her. He tells him he would like to see him form a relationship with his daughter. Alejandro tells him if he accepts them he'll forget the payments he owes him. He feels offended and says his daughter's not for sale as Alejandro says he doesn't want tobuy her. Miranda notices inconsistencies in the books and asks Cesar who is responsible and he blames Julio.

     Miranda doesn't want to believe Julio would fix the books but Cesar tells her that explains why he sold the reserved shares. Alejandro apologizes to Gonzalo if he offended him in any way and Gonzalo accepts as he thinks back to when he told him to make the children of the man who hurt his father suffer. They shake hands as Gonzalo tells him to treat her like she deserves to be treated. Miranda is about to leave when she runs into Julio's sons Angel (Franz Cossio) and Daniel (Marcelo Cordova). Miranda sees Alejandro and hugs Daniel.

     Pamela talks to her mother Andrea when Fernanda arrives and tells her tests will be done on her mother at the hospital. Pamela explains to Fernanda the reason her father left them. Berta gets what she paid for. Angel and Daniel confront Gonzalo and tells him to give them their money or suffer the consequences. Gonzalo throws them out and Cesar sees them and says he wants to talk to them.

     Fernanda informs Pamela she also has to be tested as a precaution. Tomas meets Juan when Renata arrives. Juan stares at her and she accuses him of being one of the assailants. Alejandro meets with Berta and asks her to give him the necklace she was wearing as she asks him what he wants in exchange. She kisses him as Miranda walks into the restaurant. Renata keeps insulting Juan as he's able to prove his innocence. Fernanda arrives at Gonzalo's office and he asks her for a divorce. She denies to and tears them up. He asks her how much she wants as she tells him she's returned to recover everything that belongs to her. He tells her that they owe a debt to each other as he tells her to disappear. She tells him to kill her so he can have two deaths over his head.
