Cesar realizes he's about to be destroyed. Fabricio talks to Juloio and learns it's not the right time for him to get a pacemaker. Fabricio tells him he doesn't know what to tell his son about him and says he's going to call him father and teach his son to call him grandfather. He says he wants the best for his children and confesses that he sent Daniel and Angel to Canada for their security and to get them away from Cesar. He tells him he did the right thing as Julio tells him he'll be a great father. Gabino tells Araria it's too late for Miranda and the others to arrive but Naty says Gonzalo is present and the rest will come. Luciano tells Vicente that Alejandro will ask him to take over for Liliana. He asks him if he thinks liliana has feelings for Alejandro and Vicente says it's obvious that she's in love with him but askis if she can really compete against Miranda.
Arcaria tells Gabino to close the doors that flew open but Naty tells him not to when Berta enters. She tells him she knows she makes them fear her but not to exaggerate. Gabino tells Berta that the others might not arrive but she asks Naty and she says they will. Amparo talks to Roman about Raul. Roman learns that Luis Alberto are leaving Mexico and wishes them well. He tells Cesar that Cesar is penniless. Berta asks Gabino if he's told Miranda he injured Chocolate and orders Naty to give her the gun. She tells her that Miranda has it and she says how much longer does she have to wait. At that moment Miranda, Fernanda and Alejandro arrive as Miranda tells her they've arrived. Berta orders Naty, Gabino and Arcaria to leave but Miranda tells her Naty stays. Gabino tells her they'll be outside as Berta tells her he has something to confess to her. Miranda asks the gun and asks Berta what she did that night since it started a tragedy. She tells her it was the conclusion not the beginning. She begins by saying it started when she, Fernanda and Sofia fell in love with Alfredo Luque.
Roman calls Cesar and tells him about Luis Alberto and Nuria and tells him that the couple will open several charity organizations with his name on it. He becomes furious and says he's going to look for LA and make him pay. Berta tells Fernanda and Alejandro that she told Sofia that Fernanda and Alfredo were lovers. That revelation and the bad medications made her die sooner. Alejandro begins to choke her but Miranda tells him not to let her get to him. She tells him what she did so her father could arrange the marriage between Fernanda and Gonzalo. She admits she met with Alfredo but all he woula talk about was Fernanda. She then tells them she didn't see him for a while until that night and she thought she was dead. Naty calls her a liar and says she made Alfredo believe Fernanda was unhappy and that she brought him to the house. She's surprised and asks her how she knew as Naty tells her to tell the truth and she recalls that night. She tells Alejandro he's just like his father; both were men for one woman.
Berta admits her crimes. Naty tells everyone that what Berta just said was true and that she and Tomasa witnessed everything. Fernanda asks her who she was aiming at and she says her. She recalls running to Alfredo's side and realize she had shot him not Gonzalo. She tells all present that was the only time she ever asked for forgiveness and if she had known he was alive she would have taken care of him. Alejandro tells her he doesn't know if she should go to jail or a phsychiatric ward. She tells him she had all planned; she never let Gonzalo get near Aflredo or he would have known that he didn't shoot him. Fernanda asks her why Gonzalo threw her out and she tells him she told him to do it and if she didn't leave to have him threaten to kill the girls if she didn't. Miranda goes after her but Alejandro stops her.
Francisco surprised to see Roman as he tells Amparo to accept him. Berta confesses to killing Tomasa but not Gonzalo as Miranda says it was El Guapo and that she's also to blame. She says she did for love; no one loved Gonzalo or Alfredo like she did. She then tells them she loves all of them but Alejandro says he doesn't understand her form of love. She's about to leave and he stops her. She grabs the gun and points it to herself. He tells her she has to pay for what she did as Naty tells him to let her go; she has to meet her destiny. She runs out as Alejandro becomes furious. Naty tells them not to call the police as Berta has to meet her fate. Gabino and Arcaria enter and tell everyone they saw a man following Berta as she ran away. Alejandro tells them no man followed her as Naty tells them not to ask any questions.
The next morning Miranda talks to Alejandro and tells him she's at peace as does Fernanda. After they explain what they mean and he tells them he understands them. Fernanda tells them that Berta is already in jail; her loneliness. Fernanda leaves as Alejandro asks him if she's going to invite him to her expo. She tells him she'll never forgive him if he doesn't and they kiss. As he leaves Miranda cries and tells her father he can now rest and he closes the door behind her. Vicente tells Luciano that there's a warrant out for Cesar and Julio's arrest. Alejandro arrives and tells them Berta confessed everything and they tell them he has to warn Fabricio about Julio. Renata and Veronica talk to Amparo about Raul as they prepare for his and Carola's farewell party. Luciano tells Alejandro that Cesar and Berta won't be able to leave the country. Alejandro tells Vicente he has little time to get to Miranda's event when Liliana arrives and tells them she needs to talk to him. She complains to him and says he's going to listen to him and that she's going to take her time.
