     Everyone's surprised to see Gonzalo as he tells Julio and Cesar they're going to pay for what they did. He also tells Cesar to confess and he does saying he stole a box of paper clips and a box of pencils. Gonzalo tells him not to make fun of him and slaps him. Julio orders Gonzalo to leave and he tells him he will one day regret becoming Cesar's ally. Miranda agrees to talk to Alejandro and asks him why he's at the ranch. She asks him why he's so interested in Florencia and he covers. She prohibits him from entering her ranch and orders him to leave. He tells her he thought he fell in love with a woman and not a little girl and she tells him that she would prefer be told the truth even if it hurts and not hide it from her. He tells her he only wanted to protect her and she tells him she doesn't need his protection, she needs his support. Carola tells Francisco and Amparo how Raul met Lizania. Cesar manipulates Rebeca and Julio. Francisco throws Raul out of his home.

     Tomasa tells Miranda everyone was worried about her and she says she took a bus home and that the battery died on her cell phone. She asks for her father and learns he's not home and neither is Berta. Tomasa tells Miranda that she fells like something bad is going to happen. Alejandro tells Daira about Florencia and she tells him not to do anything he'll regret. He also fears he's losing Miranda and she tells him to talk to Fernanda first. Charo tells Miranda she didn't lie concerning Berta when Pamela arrives and they talk about Gonzalo not coming home.

     Fabricio works on his project when Renata arrives and they talk about Florencia and Alejandro. Lizania arrives and Renata asks her to help her get into Berta's accounts and she's able to learn that Berta went to Germany. Miranda tells Pamela she's glad Fabricio kissed her because now she knows that she never really loved him. Pamela asks her if that means she loves Alejandro and she says she does but what's the use saying she always falls in love with men who hurt her. Juan tends to Florencia as she insults Fabricio. Juan tells her not to be so hard on him as she says she learned she was dying from him. Juan comforts her and is able to settle her down. As he leaves he runs into Renata. She grabs him and kisses him as Florencia watches them.

     Juan tells Renata she's playing with fire. Florencia tells her sister not to hurt Juan as she tells her where Berta is. Francisco can't forgive Raul when Alejandro arrives and learns Raul is Lizania's boyfriend. Pamela tells Miranda not to treat Alejandro so badly. She also tells her she met a man and is falling in love. Miranda tells her to be careful when she learns his name, Luciano Santori. Raul apologizes to Alejandro and explains to him why he did what he did. Alejandro offers to help him. Miranda thinks Luciano is using Pamela and she's offended.

     Gonzalo orders Fernanda to leave the country. She tells him she's not the same woman from the past and isn't leaving. Pamela denies to be Miranda's spy when Cesar calls. He tells her he has something to tell her and to come to his apartment. Fernanda reminds Gonzalo the mansion is hers and will tell Miranda he killed her 'supposed' lover. She also tells him she knows he and Berta were lovers. Alejandro offers his help to Francisco and his family. Cesar lies to Miranda as she thanks him for what he did for Gonzalo. He tells her of Gonzalo's visit and of his threats. Fernanda throws Gonzalo out. Alejandro arrives and she tells him to hide when Gonzalo returns and tells her that when she tells Miranda the truth she can move into the house.

     Cesar tells Miranda everything her father did to her mother. She cries as she thinkd back to what she told Alejandro about treating her like a little girl and not a woman. She also recalls rhe day her father told her their mother was paying a heavy price. She faints and Cesar starts kissing her.

     Alejandro's furious when he learns Miranda is with Cesar. He tells Luciano if Miranda wants to play diry so will he and tells him to sell off the shares. Lizania tells Florencia she prepared her breakfast. They talk as Lizania tells her Alejandro feels for her what a brother would. As he leaves Veronica bets Renata her car that Juan won't ask her to marry him and she accepts. Lizania arrives and makes them laugh. Tomasa asks Miranda if she's fine and she tells her they need to talk when she returns. Berta calls Miranda and covers over her whereabouts. Cesar learns all the proof against him has disappeared.      Santiago advises Miranda to talk to both her parents but not to forget her principles and virtues. At the hospital Dr. Cohen tells Fernanda he'll suport her in getting Florencia a transplant. He also tells her of Miranda's call. Juan helps Renata with her chores. Alejandro learns of Lucian's arrival as Gonzalo asks him if something is wrong. Amparo argues with Sanson when Roman arrives and defends her. Alejandro tells Gonzalo not to talk down to him and turns down his offer to take over the company as Gonzalo asks him if that means they're partnership is over. Miranda visits Fernanda.

     Fernanda explains to Miranda what her father has done to her. She asks her why she never looked for them and she tells her Gonzalo threatened to hurt them. Miranda asks her how she could have left them with Berta who poisoned them against her. She tells her she doesn't know who to believe. She cries as Fernanda reaches out to her. She backs away and then hugs her. Alejandro tells Gonzalo he broke their agreement first therefore he's breaking their contract. Gonzalo orders him to leave and to stay away from Miranda. He denies to saying that's Miranda's decision and not his. Luciano talks bad about Alejandro to Vicente. Sanson tells Amparo that it's Juan's fault that his brother is dead.

     Miranda tells Fernanda what Cesar told her as she tells her not to blame Alejandro for not telling her the truth saying she made him promise not to tell her. She says she can't trust someone who doesn't trust her enough to tell her the truth. Veronica almost lets it slip to Florencia about her and Fabricio. Amparo talk to Roman. Gonzalo's turned down by all the banks. He then meets Luciano and is taken aback by his young age and asks Vicente if this is a joke. Pamela talks to Miranda about her parents and she admits she doesn't hate her mother. Luciano's offended by Gonzalo and is about to leave. He stops him and demands an explanation. Gonzalo believes someone is behind him but he covers telling him all he knows about him.

     Miranda talks to Tomasa as she tells her she doubts she would have listened to her concerning her mother. She also tells her that Fernanda is the sole owner of the mansion. Cesar plans his next move. Gonzalo learns no one will lend him money. At that moment Cesar arrives and tells Gonzalo and Vicente the report that proves he's innocent but Gonzalo blows him off and leaves. Gonzalo arrives home and Miranda confronts him.

     Cesar grabs Alejandro and tells him to let go of Miranda. A confrontaion begins as Cesar tells Miranda he can't believe she would let Alejandro near her after what happened between them the night before. She tells him nothing happened between him and though grateful to him that's all she feels for him; gratitude. He tells her he can't believe that's all she feels for him s he threatens Alejandro. Tomasa tells them not to fight as Miranda tells Cesar to leave. She hugs Alejandro as he tells her not to listen to Cesar's blabbering. She thanks him for being there for her and they kiss. Gonzalo sits in his office when Rebeca arrives. She tries to explain her reasons why she's backing Cesar but he tells her it's too late. She also learns that Miranda knows Fernanda is her mother and she reveals that she's almost sure that the one who is protecting his wife is Alejandro Luque. Alejandro offers to take Miranda away but she tells him she wants to stay where they are. He explains how he met up with Fernanda after so many years and learned what Gonzalo was planning to do with the clinic. When she learned whose son he was she confided in him and he offered to help her. He also tells her she made him swear not to tell her she was her mother. She wonders why she didn't tell her the truth herself and he asks her to be honest; would she have let her talk and she agrees with him that she wouldn't have. He also tells her that Fernanda was going to confess everything to her but when she saw the rosary it complicated everything. She cries in his arms and says she didn't know the hatred of her father, the suffering of her mother and the incompitence of not knowing what was going on around her. He consoles her as she asks him who is responsible for what happened.

     Alejandro arrives at Fernanda's and she tells him she's lost faith and isn't going to fight anymore. Miranda sits next to her and asks her if she'll do it for her and they hug. Gonzalo's furious as Rebeca tells him she only thinks Alejandro is protecting Fernanda but he says it's true. He tells her to leave after she tells him he can't do anything against Fernanda. Miranda tells Fernanda what Alejandro told her and he tells them they need to talk. Miranda thanks him and tells him he hasn't asked her about Cesar. He says he wanted her to bring it up. She tells him Cesar told her what Gonzalo did to her mother and she didn't feel she could drive home so she stayed in his room and he in his guest room. Then he called and Cesar told her what he had told him and then they talked. Alejandro tells her that when she told Cesar nothing happened between them was explanation enough. Veronica threatens Erica but covers when Renata arrives. Mother and daughter cry as they relive old times especially when Miranda calls Fernanda 'mother'. Cesar complains to Luis Alberto about Miranda and Alejandro.

     Lizania informs Alejandro and Daira what's happening at the ranch as he tells her that he and Miranda will fly out the next day. Daira learns that Alejandro knows Raul and his whole family and he also tells her Miranda and Fernanda are talking. Fernanda tells Miranda that she doesn't want to put her against her father and that what happened though affected them the problems are between her and her father. Miranda asks her if she still loves Gonzalo and she admits she did and wanted to work things out but doesn't know anymore. She tells her she knows Berta is behind everything and that together they're going to prove it.

     Gabino tells Juan and Fabricio that the thieves took everything including Cacao, Miranda's horse. Gabino tells himself that it's Berta's fault and he's her accomplice. Cesar arrives at the ranch and confuses Juan as one of the workers. Juan puts him in his place as Cesar goes after him but Fabricio stops him. Rebeca explains to Julio why she went to go see Gonzalo. He tells her Gonzalo is no one to stop Fernanda form getting near her daughters. He also tells her that Gonzalo is no one to judge others and is leaving San Llorente Enterprises to team up with Cesar. Juan gives Cesar as he apologizes for the mistake. As they talk Lizania arrives and informs them Alejandro and Miranda are on their way. Francisco and Amparo talk to Santiago when Daira arrives. Julio tells Daniel and Angel of his plans. Luciano overhears Luis Alberto say that San Llorente Enterprises' days are almost over. Gonzalo arrives at Fernanda's and tells her he knows Alejandro protects her as Miranda listens.

     Alejandro tells Miranda that his father died just months earlier. Miranda asks Gonzalo to return to the mansion. Raul meets with Sanson and asks him about the bank robbery not realizing it's a tap set up by the police. Sanson suspects of Raul and Carola. Cesar presents his friends to Luciano, one of them recognizes him as Alejandro's friend. Miranda tells Alejandro he can't see her at her house by orders of her father.

     Berta returns and Gonzalo confronts her demanding to know the name of Fernanda's lover but denies knowing anything. Sanson and his gang try to rob Alejandro as Miranda hears it all and yells when she hears gunshots. Later, Miranda finds Alejandro who has minor injuries but was able to take a gun away from one of the assailants. Juan and Renata can't stop thinking of each other. Tomasa confronts Berta and threatens to tell Gonzalo and Miranda everything. Berta tells Tomasa that she provoked the accident where her sons died and that her granddaughter Nuria is having Cesar's baby. Berta orders Lucas to attack Tomasa. The dog follows her and she falls down the stairs.

     Tomasa dies from the impact from faaling down the stairs but not before she's able to tell Gonzalo that SHE also fired a gun that night. Gonzalo tells Berta and Charo they'll be questioned and Berta tells haro what to say. Luciano makes Cesar believe he hates Alejandro and asks him to become allies to finish him off. Luciano tells Alejandro he's buying La Quinta, he tells him to put it in his name and will them give it to Florencia and Fabricio. Fernanda tells Rebeca that Berta can't know that Gonzalo isn't Florencia's father not realizing she already told her.

     Fernanda thinks Berta is reponsible for Tomasa's death but Alejandro assured her she had no motive unless she was crazy. Gonzalo tries to get close to Renata but she rejects him. Miranda tells Pamela she finds it suspicious that Berta just returned from her trip and Tomasa suffers an accident and dies. Juan tells Fernanda that he wants to marry Renata. Raul tells Carola that he heard Alejandro tell his family that Chaquiras and Romeo assaulted him and he dedides to go to the police and report them.

     Alejandro tells Gonzalo he changed his mind in helping him. When he questions him Alejandro becomes angry and they begin to argue. Alejandro yells at him that he wanted to destroy him. Gonzalo asks him why he wanted to destroy him when Berta arrives. Miranda tells Alejandro she's on her way to the ranch and that she wants to marry him after the harvest is done. He asks her if she's sure and they kiss. Gonzalo denies to sell any of his shares to Berta.      Miranda tells Alejandro that she only wants a simple wedding and turns down his offer for a huge one. She relatiates saying he doesn't care for her and he becomes angry. Berta meets with Fermin. Leonardo takes Andrea to dinner and asjs her how she knew he wasn't Leonardo. She answers that Leonardo would only smile when he was going to hit her. He promises her he'll protect her and then asks her about some codes in a book. Carola is saddened when Juan tells his family he's getting married.

She informs him she's going to the ranch when Luciano arrives and informs Alejandro he bought the shares he wanted and only needs to buy Julio's.      Alejandro tells Cesar not to touch Miranda and to get away from her. Cesar pretends to be courteous as Miranda explains why he's there.      Santiago cris to God and asks him for forgiveness. Veronica tells Berta everything that happened at the wedding. Renata cleans the house as she cries. Juan returns and tells her they're poor, not dirty and throws away a glass she didn't wash right. He alsotells her that their marriage will be a farce until she gets tired or he feels like it as both cry. Pamela visits Miranda and learns she fought with Alejandro as she tells her Luciano bought Cesar's ranch. Daira tells Alejandro to take care of Berta and he says he'll pay anything for the documents. She tells him what she wants is him and asks him if he's willing to do it. Gonzalo talks to Vicente and tells him the figures are wrong and learns he has 2 months worth of income. Gonzalo asks his lawyer to investigate the London exchange. Carola cries to Fernanda about Juan and insults Renata not realizing she's her daughter.

     Amparo denies to Juan anything's wrong as Renata follows suit. As she leaves Juan tells Renata if Amparo sheds a tear because of her fault she'll regret it. Miranda tells Pamela that Berta didn't lie and told her the truth to hurt her and she succeeded. She denies to talk to Fernanda and decides to leave town. She also wonders why Alejandro has come to see Berta. Gonzalo mistreats Fernanda as she admits it's true. He tells her he now understands why that man came for her that night. Juan tells Renata love isn't a game as Amparo hears all. Fernanda tells Gonzalo he's the only one she would have picked to be her daughter's father and he insults her.      Alejandro tells Luciano to hire a detective to follow Lizania. Charogives Miranda the portfolio but it's empty. Renata asks Juan why he didn't come home and he tells her he has no reason to tell her that he does and if she wants to leave to do it. Fermin looks for Santiago and tells him that it was indeed Berta who opened the bank account in his name. Sanson attaks Renata. Cesar arrives and beats him up. Gonzalo talks to the press and tells them his name and prestige are untouchable. On orders from Cesar one of the reporters asks him if it's true that he killed a man years earlier. Alejandro's angry when he searches through the portfolio and finds nothing. Alejandro, Pamela and Miranda search Berta's room. Florencia arrives and sees them and is bothered at what they're doing. They cover as they learn about Berta's whereabouts.

     Cesar hires Sanson as his errand boy. Sanson tells him he knows about Fernanda and her daughters. Alejandro and Miranda wonder what Berta is doing in Europe. Gonzalo angry, tells Luciano he did a complete investigation and knows that Alejandro and not he is the owner of the shares and tells him he wants to talk to him. Alejandro tells Fernanda that Miranda knows that Florencia is not Gonzalo's daughter. Gonzalo orders Vicente to go to Europe to investiga the fraud. Fabricio looks for Florencia and tells her Florencia's has had good results. Renata arrives at Gonzalo's office and tells him she got married. Ehen he asks with who Juan enters and says with him.

     Alejandro covers and tells Gonzalo that he moved from Italy and made a new life for business reasons and that they fell through. Gonzalo senses there's something more and asks him about buying the shares before they even met. He explains that Luciano buys investment stocks and properties and doesn't learn about them until later. He asks him why he protects Fernanda. He tells her of the relationship between her and his mother. Gonzalo shows him plans to re-construct the company but he interrupts him asking him if he's against him marrying Miranda. He tells him if they already made a decision not to let anyone ir anything come between them. Gonzalo tells him to make his daughter happy as he assures him that Miranda is his whole life. Fernanda thanks Cesar for helping her and Miranda get close though it only lasted for a little while. He tells her to help him win over Miranda but she tells him her daughter loves Alejandro. Florencia asks Nuria who the father of her baby is. Alejandro tells Luciano that Gonzalo agreed that he be his financial adviser and will work with Vicente. Lizania listens when he tells Luciano to give his sister her inheritance. Happy she leaves but doesn't hear when he tells his friend he's not really going to give it to her, he just wants to learn for who or what she wants it for. Renata makes breakfast for her new family. Juan listens to her as she asks the Virgen Mary for guidance.

     Gonzalo argues with Berta over the phone concerning Florencia. Vicente informs Gonzalo he's losing all his investors to Cesar and Julio. Nuria thinks that Cesar will be there for her and her baby. Berta calls Florencia and Nuria faints when she hears it's her godmother. Miranda's able to convince the workers to work for her. Florencia tends to Nuria. Francisco and Amparo get a surprise when they get home. Renata serves her family breakfast and she cries when she recalls Miranda's words. Juan runs after her and tells her what she made for them was very good and to give him time to resolve his feelings. She tells himabout the money Berta gave her and he tells her to buy whatever she needs. Florencia calls Fernanda and she learns Renata and Juan got married. Gabino tells Miranda that they're not going to meet their quote and she tells him they will. Lizania tells Cesar what Alejandro told Luciano. Berta gives orders to a mysterious man. Cesar tries to turn Lizania against Alejandro as he reads a romance novel and thinks of Miranda. At that moment he hears her yell for him and he fears something is wrong.
