Nicholas waits for the DNA test results to come back which reveal that Faith is Nicholas and Sharon’s daughter. An upset Ashley has to hand the baby over. After Billy and Victoria argue about the article about Adam in the magazine they end up sharing a kiss. Nikki tries to reassure Phyllis that Nicholas loves her. Jack talks to Phyllis about the way his wife has been behaving as Patty listens in at the door. Patty is determined to stop Phyllis from interfering in her marriage. Adam works out that Emily is really Patty. Chance and Chloe enjoy some time alone in New York where Chance ends up proposing.

Before Patty can smother Phyllis she wakes as the phone is ringing. Phyllis learns from Nicholas that Faith is and Sharon's daughter. Ashley is comforted by her brother. Traci decides to help Ashley find out what happened to the baby she gave birth too. Emily's odd behaviour continues to baffle Jack. Patty tries to seduce Jack. Billy and Victoria cant stop thinking about one another and end up making love after Victoria shows up at his trailer. Chloe turns down Chance's marriage proposal and tells him that nothing has changed between them following her decision.

Billy, Phyllis and Nick learn from Victor and Jack that Owen is going to be investigating what went down at the cabin. Adam clashes with Nikki and is later able to escape with Patty's help. After visiting Faith, Ashley breaks down. After Sarah bails Ryder and Daisy out of jail they all attend the masquerade ball.

After sedating Patty, Adam heads to the ball where masked he is able to fool Phyllis. Patty is revived by some doctors at the hospital. Jack learns that Adam is on the loose. Sharon is shocked when she finds Adam holding the baby. Paul looks into Sarah's past after Michael learns she paid Ryder and Daisy's bail. Sarah puts her plan into action. Chloe agrees to go to the ball with Chance. Victor isn't happy when he sees Billy with his daughter and warns him to stay away from her.

Following the explosion, Nikki and Victor are worried about Nicholas and Victoria. Michael and Murphy try and find Lauren and Kay. Jill panics when Kay wont wake up. When Victoria shows up safe and sound her parents are relieved. Nicholas finds Sharon unconscious and the baby crying. Faith is given to Ashley to look after which Neil thinks is a bad idea. When Kay wakes up, Jill tells her what has happened. A body is brought out and everyone wonders who it is. Ashley gives Faith back to Sharon after she is taken to the hospital. Victor and Jack manage to rescue Kay and Jill. Lauren is put in a cage by Ryder and Daisy. The dead man is revealed as already being dead before the explosion happened. Michael and Kevin start to work out what has been going on.

When Nina returns to town she catches Chance and Chloe together. Billy learns that Victoria is worried she could loose her son if they are together. Nina finds out about Chance asking Chloe to marry him. Victoria doesn't want Bill telling anyone that they spent the night together. Daisy finally tells Lauren the truth that she is Ryder’s twin. Lauren works out that Sheila is their mother.

Nick finds out that Phyllis and Sharon got rid of his jacket and that they suspect him of killing his brother. Victor tells Owen how he broke his watch. Nicholas explains to his wife how his brother's blood ended up on his jacket. Victoria and Billy make sure their stories match. Jana buys her act after Sarah pretends to be Lauren. Nicholas' jacket is found by a homeless man. Billy is presented with a search warrant by Chance. Kevin reads a report about Sarah Smythe who worked as a nurse in Green Bay and was cleared of killing her patients. Lauren learns from Sarah that she is Sheila’s sister.

Patty looks at Emily's portrait and admits she is lying about being pregnant. J.T. tells Mac that he isn't confident of gaining custody of Reed. Victor promises his daughter that she will be given custody of her son and he later meets with a judge. Billy tells Chance that if he gets him Nicholas' tuxedo jacket he wants an exclusive on the murder investigation for the magazine. Chance has already get his hands on the tuxedo and tells Billy he wont charge him with obstruction if tells him who he was the night of Adam's murder. Jack finds out that Patty has lied to him about an appointment she has claimed to have made. Patty and Sarah clash. Victoria is brought in for questioning and Chance wants to know how a pen she bought in Dubai ended up killing her half brother. J.T is given custody of Reed in Victoria's absence at the hearing. Victoria refuses to tell Chance where she was on the night Adam died. Victoria ends up being charged with Adam's murder.
