Though Hannah worries that her friend is jeopardizing his career, Marcus refuses to let her father's unfortunate predicament come between them. Stefan makes it clear to an irked Tony that he won't be receiving his vote for chief neurosurgeon when the matter of filling a vacancy comes up before the hospital board. In Texas, Felicia informs Mariah that she's taking her girls back home without any further delay. Sonny reports to a relieved Roy that Larkin bought their performance hook, line and sinker. Later, Larkin calls and threatens to frame Carly for drug possession unless Sonny coughs up a cool million in hush money. As they finalize their plans to take the crooked FBI agent down, Roy asks Sonny to get a message to his daughter first. Jax feels hurt and left out when Chloe asks Alexis to drive her to the hospital for her next radiation treatment. An angry Maxie threatens to run away if her mother forces her to return to Port Charles. Sonny explains to Bobbie why he and Carly have agreed to a marriage of convenience. Mariah finally convinces Maxie and Georgie to go back with Felicia but warns her granddaughter she's on thin ice with all of them. Sonny goes shopping for a cradle.

Lucky tells Stefan he was never Helena's prisoner. Chloe lends Felicia a sympathetic ear after finding her sobbing alone in the park. Carly presses her mother for details about the scheme Roy has cooked up with Sonny but Bobbie elects to keep mum. Meanwhile, Roy convinces a reluctant Sonny to wear a wire during his next meeting with Larkin. Chloe urges Felicia to believe that her daughters just need a little extra reassurance before they'll come around. Ned's rehearsal gets off to a rocky start as his old insecurities begin to get the best of him. On the docks, Larkin informs Sonny he'll require continuous million dollar payments to ensure his silence. Tony and Bobbie meet at B.J.'s grave on the anniversary of their daughter's death. Carly finally agrees to wear Sonny's ring. Bobbie cajoles Roy into taking her along as they trail Larkin to the Grand Keys.

Luke asks Felicia to decide once and for all whether she wants to stay married to Mac. Pulling back from Elizabeth's kiss, Lucky reminds her that they can't relive the past. As Edward hurries to call an ambulance, Sonny anxiously leans over Carly while A.J. gapes in shock at the destruction he's caused. Mac explains to Laura that although he still loves Felicia he's through dealing with her duplicity. Meanwhile, Felicia regretfully tells Luke that she has to do what's best for her children even if it means putting an end to a beautiful friendship. Elizabeth appeals to Lucky to believe in the dreams they shared, but he refuses to engage in a stroll down memory lane. An enraged Edward lashes out at A.J., who insists Carly provoked him into quarreling with her. In the ER, Tony works to stabilize Carly and her unborn child while a fretful Sonny hovers nearby. Later, sitting by Carly's bed in the ICU, Sonny urges his unconscious fiancee to fight hard for herself and for the baby.

Bobbie dons her sexiest duds as Roy monitors Larkin's movements on the island. At University Hall, Ned completes his sound check while the promoter prepares to open the doors to a mob of excited "Eddie Maine" fans. Backstage, Nikolas encourages Elizabeth to enjoy the rock concert and forget about the situation with Lucky for one night. Lila comes to the hospital to express her deepest condolences to Sonny, who sadly wonders how he's going to tell Carly that they've lost their baby. Meanwhile, Edward warns A.J. his life won't be worth a plugged nickel if he ever dares cross Sonny's path again. Choking back tears, Sonny tells Lila he believes his child is in heaven now. Emily gives Lucky her backstage pass and urges him to come to the concert. While Bobbie distracts the bank manager, Roy slips into the office and prints out a copy of Larkin's records. Thanks to Edward's machinations, Ned gets locked into the basement of the arena just as show time arrives. When Carly finally awakens, Sonny hesitantly breaks his bad news but she demands to see her baby. With the crowd growing impatient, Emily suggests sending Juan out on stage as an opening act. Later, Juan makes his singing debut. As the terrible truth begins to sink in, a weeping Carly realizes what she's lost.

While Roy contemplates the best way to earn some fast cash, Bobbie volunteers to hock the bracelet Jerry gave her. Emily helps Elizabeth plan a dinner which she hopes will recreate some magic for her and Lucky. Alan urges A.J. to fly to Arizona and check into a rehab center. Edward comes to the hospital bearing a bouquet from Lila's garden along with his condolences for Carly's loss. Meanwhile, Sonny returns to the penthouse and gently explains to Michael why he won't be getting the new baby brother he was promised. Felicia bumps into Lucky on the docks and encourages him to give his parents a second chance. When Luke happens along, Lucky accuses his father of enlisting Felicia to shill for him. Later, Laura walks by just as Luke reaches out to caress Felicia's cheek. Sonny breaks his bad news to his father. A grieving Carly wonders why she hasn't heard anything from Bobbie. Chloe scolds Jax for trying to take advantage of Sonny's tragedy to ruthlessly advance his own business dealings. Later, when Chloe insists that he abandon the takeover of ELQ, Jax refuses to relent. A.J.'s path crosses Sonny's for the first time since Carly's fall.

Jax opens the door of his penthouse to Tony. Tony tells Jax the news is good. He is now convinced that if they get Chloe that wonder drug in conjunction with her radiation therapy that she could beat the illness. The only problem is the clinical trial is closed.Outside of Kelly's, Chloe comes across Emily.Emily says she thinks that Lila might feel responsible for Carly losing her baby.Ed is on the phone trying leave a voice message for Sonny regarding the upcoming ELQ board meeting. He is telling Sonny that he doesn't expect him to be there and he hopes that Sonny will vote with the Q's and to please call him immediately. Alan walks in and tells Ed he must be desperate to think that Sonny will vote with him. Monica and Lila come in and don't sound to positive either. Monica and Alan continue to tell Ed he will get his.Hannah is in the park preparing for her run when AJ comes along. She wants to know how he is doing. He replies alive and starts to fill her in on his conversation with Sonny at the docks. Helena is on the docks when Lucky comes up. He wants to finish where they left off because Stefan interrupted them before. He tells her he will be leaving Port Charles soon. Helena asks about his sister and brother. Lucky says he can't continue to hurt Liz.Stefan comes across Lucky on the docks. Lucky is angry and says he has nothing to say to Stefan.

Tammy cautions Luke not to do any damage to Kelly's kitchen while she's away in Albany. Helena orders Andreas to bring Lucky to her at once. Laura materializes first, however, and demands that Helena reveal what she did to Lucky to turn him into a morose stranger. Juan is excited to receive his first shipment of fan mail at L&B. Lucky storms out of Kelly's after finding his father in charge. Jax tells a wary Edward he's giving up the fight for control of ELQ. Lois calls L&B to congratulate her ex on "Eddie Maine's" triumphant return to the stage. Mac is perturbed to learn from Mariah that Maxie punched a classmate at school after the boy teased her about failing another math test. Felicia walks into the diner just as Luke's first customer takes a header into his luncheon plate. Edward and Jax reach an understanding based on their mutual affection for Chloe. Helena and Lucky discuss the future during another chess match on the yacht. After the paramedics diagnose the unconscious customer with a contagious tropical disease carried by mosquitos, Luke and Felicia realize they may have been exposed and must spend the night in quarantine. Jax discovers that the European conglomerate he needs to buy is owned by none other than Helena Cassadine.

Though Chloe frets about the consequences of tangling with Helena, Jax remains determined to gain access to the drug his lover needs even if it means confronting the lethal matriarch of the Cassadine clan. Insisting that she has no interest in anything other than friendship with Nikolas, Elizabeth reminds Lucky that she's still head over heels in love with him. An apologetic Sonny explains to Carly how he ordered the cradle weeks ago and neglected to cancel delivery. Felicia is outraged when Mac threatens to take her daughters away from their neglectful mother. Stefan congratulates his mother on the success of her fiendish plan to brainwash Lucky and thereby inflict never-ending pain on both Luke and Laura. Lucky continues to press a baffled Elizabeth to consider a romance with his brother. Carly asks Sonny if he holds her responsible for the loss of their child, then is stunned to realize that he's actually been blaming himself. Later, Carly watches silently as Sonny destroys the cradle in a fit of grief and rage. An angry Maxie tells Felicia she wants to live with her stepfather. As Helena plots her son's murder, Stefan plans his counter-attack.

Mike apologizes for stepping out of line earlier but tells Sonny he can't just stand idly by and watch his grieving son suffer. As she sorts through Juan's fan mail at L&B, Emily is irked to find another provocative photo from her boyfriend's most ardent female admirer. Jax asks Alexis for help overcoming a stumbling block named Helena. Emily confides to Elizabeth her growing fear that Juan will dump her for someone more exciting once he becomes a big success. Though both Chloe and Jax firmly veto the idea, Alexis insists on confronting Helena herself. Mike entreats his son not to punish himself for the loss of his unborn child. Susie suddenly shows up in person at the studio and fawns all over a grinning Juan. Afterwards, Juan has to work hard to convince Emily that she has nothing to worry about when it comes to flattery from his overheated fans. Elizabeth hesitantly explains to Nikolas how his brother envisions them as a couple. Mac files for divorce from Felicia--and for custody of her daughters.
