Gina reads about blind people. Mack sees it and asks, why. He takes her to the doctor because she feels sick. She is pleased with her visit to the eye doctor. Mack had overheard Gina telling the doctor of her fears of becoming blind again (she can't tell time and thinks it's raining when it's actually sunshine). Annie doesn't want to leave Bunny behind. Bunny has amnesia and acts as a saloon lion. He remembers his name but thinks he's a singer. Annie is fascinated about the new cool Bunny. He sings in a bar. Laura overhears a cop talking to the waitress and sees him show her their picture. They get out of there. Cruz comes to and tells Eden he had seen the guys who attacked him and tells her that the stone is gone. He wants to talk to Michael. Cruz says that the men were the same as in Paris - Arabians. Eden wonders what is so important about the stone. A man in the golden gown, an Arabian effendi who has the stone now, tries to cure a sick boy, but fails. Effendi adviser tells him he needs the shaman himself to see the powers. Effendi gives the order to bring Cruz in. Michael wants to be more than a friend to Nikki and she finally agrees to go out with him. Cruz asks Michael and Ric to look after Eden.

Barr works with Renfield again; he wants to use Hunt to rebuild Barr Industries. Kelly thinks Eden knew Robert was coming back and didn't tell her. Eden is surprised that Kelly doesn't know why Robert did come back. Kelly tells her she doesn't care. Robert meets Eden when Kelly has gone to the ladies' room. Eden tells Robert Kelly shouldn't know about his letter. Robert plans to stay in SB. Kelly meets Craig and tells him she doesn't care for Robert anymore but that Craig means something to her. Hunt wants to wait and see, Kelly doesn't want to wait any more. Robert watches them from his yacht. Hunt tells Stephen he fears what Derek might be up to, cause he has left SB. Stephen and Hunt get a message (probably from Derek). A woman looks at the photos of the 4 men. When Cruz falls asleep, Eden and Kelly go to lunch and leave Sophia and CC to keep an eye on Cruz. The Asian guys have a plan to drug the guard. CC takes Sophia to dinner. Eden finds Cruz gone when she returns and learns that the doctors who took Cruz were Arabians, too. Cruz is on the plane on his way to the effendi. Gina insists on going to work, Mack finally takes her. She makes him promise to keep it all to himself. Gina collapses before CC and Sophia when they have come to dinner at the Lair. They learn from Mack that Gina might lose her sight for good. CC doubts her authenticity.

Michael tells Eden about the terrorist Akbar who had kidnapped Cruz. Eden and Michael decide to go to Lisboa. CC sees light at the Lockridge residence, thinks it strange and goes to have a look. He finds Lionel and demands an explanation. Phyllis tells Gina that she had made an appointment with a doctor and is prepared to give one of her eyes to Gina. Gina refuses. Eden and Augusta are at CC's when Phyllis brings Gina who already acts almost blind. CC brings Lionel with him and Augusta faints when she sees him. Lionel makes up a story explaining the misunderstanding. Eden tells CC she'll go to Ohio where Cruz is supposedly taken. When everyone is gone, Gina is pleased: everything is going her way. Augusta tells Lionel that they still have to go round Laken. Lionel hopes Laken'll forgive him. Laken comes to the Bar None and she makes acquaintance with Amado. She tells him of her family - Lionel dead. Cruz refuses to have any of the effendi wives and threatens to kill the effendi if something should happen to Eden. One of the effendi wives, Saldana, explains to Cruz that her husband wants to win a sheik. She drugs Cruz, the latter starts making love to her, because he thinks it's Eden but he comes to before things get too far. He sees the stone in the same tent with him but it's in a cage and guarded by a spider. Effendi is told that the sheik is attacking.

Bunny's picture is in the papers: he's wanted for armed robbery. Annie is determined to take Bunny to Mexico with them. They have stolen a trailer. When they start moving, something hits Bunny on the head and he snaps to and, after seeing the paper, is surprised. Bunny and Annie talk and the latter tells him that Ed had beaten her up when he had been drunk. Bunny runs away but Laura is determined to find him before he calls the cops. Bunny is on the phone with Ethan when Laura shows up with a butcher's knife. Mack calls on Gina and reads her of Bunny. Cassie calls on CC and the latter asks her to stay in his house. Laken calls on Augusta and seeing her father there, faints. Lionel and Laken want the three of them to be a family again. Lionel doesn't tell Augusta what had been in the letter he had given to CC. Lionel calls on CC and when he is alone, tries to examine the pictures. Stephen shows Sophia the film and Sophia likes it. They learn that CC has taken the film from the cutting room. They are both upset. Sophia tells CC that the film had come out good and she wants it released. CC bursts out that he had financed the film. Sophia is surprised and gets angry. She tells CC she will not let him take it away from her.

Derek intends to leave the country because the police are after him. Al will not go with him. Derek arranges a meeting with Cassie to say goodbye and tells her that he doesn't regret a thing. Derek had planned the revenge for 20 years. Hunt calls on Robert and agrees to work WITH Robert, not FOR him. They talk about Harland Richards. Kelly calls rich people to get donations. Sophia learns that Kelly had known about CC's financing the film and they end up arguing because Kelly defends CC and Sophia feels manipulated. Kelly makes a move at Hunt but the latter sees she's not sure and wants to slow down. He tells Kelly of his partnership with Robert. Robert wants to collect the money anonymously. Laura and Annie tie Bunny up. He tells them that he had called the Lair. Laura doesn't believe him. She decides to throw him out in a deserted place with some food. Annie tells Laura she'll go with Bunny. When Annie and Laura want to leave cops arrive and they are arrested. Annie accuses Bunny and is hurt. Ethan shows up. Bunny encourages Annie and gives her secretly the key for the cuffs. Julia comes back and learns about Cruz. Derek calls on Julia looking for Mason.

Pasha decides to use Eden to make Cruz cooperate. He tells Eden she'll be his wife. Eden fights back. Pasha then learns that Cruz is gone - he has been taken to the sheik Idi Ben Adir's camp. Eden hits the Pasha with a cup, takes the stone and runs. Michael and Shaila get away. Shaila tells Michael that her father had given her to the Pasha. Michael offers the sheik a deal. Sophia has a plan - to show the draft copy to the press which is illegal but she hopes that then CC'll have to release the film. Stephen is surprised that Sophia is taking it so seriously. He offers her a new project. CC comes home and he and Cassie look at the old family photos and reminisce. Debra talks to Sophia and is anxious to get into the Capwell house. Debra comes when CC isn't home. Cassie is there and asks her to leave. Sophia decides to tell CC of the press show. Stephen tries to talk her out of it. Gretchen makes a pass at Hunt. Craig rejects her. Craig comes to give Robert the signed documents from Gretchen when Kelly shows up from the back room - half naked. Kelly explains. Hunt calls on Kelly and suggests they leave town for a while - just the 2 of them.

Annie comes to the Lair in disguise - a waitress - no one recognises her. Bunny promises to help her. A cop comes asking Bunny questions about how Annie had got away. A man comes to Julia's to redecorate her home, which had been Augusta's idea. Mason is opposed to it for it disturbs him and he can't write in peace. But since Julia has nothing else to do, she agrees. Mason goes to CC's to get some peace and quiet. He tells Julia he has two tickets for 2 months on a tropical island but Julia declines because she had accepted the job Lionel had offered her. Cassie is kind to Gina because she hasn't yet heard of the problems she has caused. Phyllis realises Gina isn't blind when her hair catches fire and Gina starts to put it out. Gina tells her she has a plan but Phyllis has to help her by doing her laundry every day. Cassie feels indebted to the Capwells. Lionel runs into Phyllis at the CC's and wonders why she is taking laundry out in a suitcase. Ethan pays a visit to Derek who asks him to help him like he had helped Craig. Ethan agrees, though reluctantly since all he has now is his career. Ethan calls on Laura who wants him to help her. The latter tells her that he had got the divorce in Mexico and will apply it in California as well. Alfred calls on Derek and tells him that Ethan and he are planning to get him out. Lionel wants a Delasorte painting and wants CC to pay for it. A Mrs. Sheridan from a bird sanctuary comes and asks for the support Augusta had promised when Lionel was "dead". Lionel agrees to help when he hears the deed will be notified.

Craig Hunt discovered the letter, which accidentally, without Kelly's knowledge of its existence, fell into her purse while packing the ship's routes. The letter, addressed to Cruz and Eden read the real reason about Robert Barr's sudden leaving. Pasha Offendi of Kharif, the kidnapper of Cruz, and the one man who is after the talisman, finally agreed to Eden's deal to let Cruz go, as a trade, she will plan an interview with the Pasha, to attract international concern about the war between Kharif and Kabir. The day of the screening has finally come, and Sophia is happy that CC agreed to come, but then the unexpected happened - the master of the movie disappeared from the safe.

Everybody is devastated about the fact that the master of the film mysteriously disappeared from the safe and a fire had destroyed the negatives, which were kept in CC's study. According to the police the fire was set intentionally. Steven is furious, his life work seems to have vanished and with it his career. In Kharif: Michael managed to find a way back into the Palace, where he assumes Eden is still kept hostage. To Michael's surprise Eden is no longer being kept against her will, she managed to discuss and negotiate with the Pasha, who is astonished about the woman's courage. Robert, who has been calling the 'Sophia 1' on the radio with no luck, finally found out where the ship has anchored. He appears desperate to discuss the Richards' business deal. He tracks them down. Craig who now knows about the letter, makes sure to Robert, that this is not the time to do business and he want's him to leave immediately. They argue.

Steven Slade is consulting a lawyer intending to file a civil suit against CC for burning the film and its negatives. Although Sophia is sure CC is telling the truth, by denying he had anything to do with it, Steven continues to throw accusations at him. Meanwhile in Kharif, Eden's plan to interview the Pasha, who pledged for help, has been successfully screened all over the world - even in Santa Barbara, where the Capwells eventually realized that something is definitely wrong. Eden, presuming her family saw the news, calls home to make sure CC won't take any action to rescue her. But CC won't listen to Eden and plans to travel to Kharif himself. Augusta insists not to tell Laken about Lionel's plan to become rich. Lionel doesn't share her opinion and is trying to find a justified cause of where the $200 million, he is planning to earn, came from. Kelly had a serious talk with Craig about their relationship. She feels that he is hesitant, but doesn't know why. So she tells Craig, she needs time to think of

Robert Barr shows up at Kelly's to give her at present and wishing her a happy birthday. Only minutes later, Craig shows up at the mansion, knowing that Robert is there too. Kelly is seemingly under pressure, by the constant attention she is getting from Craig as well as from Robert, but she wants to be left alone to make a decision. She makes this clear to both and asks them to leave. But Craig won't give up that easy. He arranges for Kelly to come to the Golf Club, under false pretense, in order to finally tell her that he really loves her. Lionel's plan to inspect the paintings failed, he got locked up in CC's wine cellar, by the servant who believed she heard rats. Meanwhile Augusta is worried about Lionel. She hasn't heard from him all night. Something was doomed to go wrong. She is pretending everything is O.K. to Laken, who has become suspicious of her mother and father, who have been acting very strangely for a while. Gina meet with an art dealer to sell the painting she switched with a fake at the Capwell mansion, but the deal did not come to an end. Augusta could not wait to find out what happened to Lionel, so she went over to the mansion, wanting to find out whether Lionel was seen or not. She used the study to make a call, where she recognized a gift laying to the table from Lionel. She opened it. Inside was a letter once, a long time ago, written by Sophia to Lionel, saying that she always loved CC. Lionel gave it to CC in the wooden box as a gift. Augusta was outraged, she rushed home, where it came to an argument between the two.

Laken is seeking help from her father for being a sponsor for Nikki, who is about to be deported if she doesn't find a sponsor. Lionel has to turn her down, since he is unable to act as a one, with the limited finances he has at the moment. An art dealer from the Art Museum went to the Capwell Mansion to express his gratitude once again to CC, who sponsored the painting. He met Lionel, who is astonished that the painting is real, whereas Lionel was sure that CC is in possession of the fakes, of course without his knowledge. At the same time, Gina and her mother showed up. To everybody's surprise the art dealer recognized Gina, who was smartly trying to change the subject. Lionel is sure the painting is a fake, but where is real one? Gina was shaken by the fact, that the truth about her switching the painting will come out. But for some reason the she believes the art museum recognizes the fake as the real painting. She wonders how much Lionel knows about the paintings and wants to find out. CC was trying hard to make up with Sophia, when they coincidentally met at the Golf Club, but Sophia does not want to discuss anything to do with the movie with him. They get into an argument. CC gets up and leaves.

Mason moved back to his office. Cassandra agreed to his offer to work for him as an assistant. Quinn has problems coping with his past. While he grew up with careless stepparents away from his twin brother Robert, Robert lived a happier life with his birth parents. He wants to become Robert, not just for the money as his partner and mistress Flame believes, he also intends to finally meet his real parents, much to Debra's regret. Debra believes the situation is getting out of hand and doesn't think Quinn is perfect in his appearance yet, but later on he convinces her of otherwise. He dresses, talks, moves and looks exactly like Robert. Julia is very proud of Mason, who for the first time really manages his private and business life, without any problems, and tells him so. Mason decides to go on a business trip to Hong Kong and is happy to hear that Julia would like to travel with him. After leaving Argentina in the Capwell's private jet, during upcoming bad weather, Robert loses control over the machine and has to land somewhere in the middle of nowhere and a lot of snow. Kelly, Craig and Robert will have to stay overnight and find help the next day. Laken decided to stop her acting classes, because she can't afford it anymore. She tells Steven, who offered her free classes, because he believes in her abilities. She is happy. Amato believes Steven wants more than just being nice, but Laken makes him understand otherwise.

Annie, who recently after her escape appeared at The Lair, is still running away from the police. She decides to leave Bunny, not to get him into any trouble hiding her. She writes him a note. Bunny who shortly after read the message is shocked and tries to find her. Michael, Nikki, Amato and Laken are off to celebrate the good news about Nikki and Michael's wedding plans. The evening turned into a disaster, when Amato, over a jealous rage, picks a fight, defending his sister. Mason and Julia just returned from a business trip. To their amazement they found that Cassie, who is now working as Mason's Assistant, completely scheduled and managed their private as well as their business life, much to Julia's dislike and Mason's amazement. Debra has difficulties controlling Quinn. He wants to have it all, the sooner the better. Debra accuses him of being cocky and reminds him that of the hundreds of millions of dollars that are at stake, if they are not careful enough. But Quinn is being very sure of himself and proves to her that he can fool anybody into believing he is Robert Barr. Robert, Kelly and Craig have been jailed in a faraway place somewhere in Argentina. They knock down a guard at the prison and manage to escape. They manage to get on a train, where Kelly begins to drift away, remembering the past and all happenings with Robert.

Quinn Armitage went out as Robert to make a second appearance in public. Debra was outraged when she found out, believing he makes a big mistake and risks all they worked so hard for. He calls her over the phone, pretending he is Robert - she fell for it. She is even more furious now, knowing that the whole town knows Robert is out of town. When Quinn comes back later, he tells her about the decision to look for his parents. Debra doesn't like what is going on and believes he is getting too emotional about all this and tells Quinn that she has information that his parents are dead.

During a demonstration organized by the Blue Sky Brigade, an environmental group, at the Graighton Chemicals factory, a bomb went off. Luckily nobody got hurt. Gina and Phyllis came up with the idea to plant a piece of evidence in the tunnel, making Lionel believe Augusta stole the paintings. The plan worked well. They stole a small souvenir Lionel once gave to Augusta, and that same night, as Lionel went back in the tunnel planted it there. He found it. Dash Nichols, the leader of the Blue Sky Brigade, an environmental group who protects birds, shows up at Mason's office, accusing him for planting the bomb. Gretchen is arguing with Mack, whom she has been seeing for a while. Mack doesn't like the idea of Gretchen using him, so he turns down her invitation. She is offended and intents to make him jealous, then she leaves the scene. Mack follows here, without them realizing that they had been watched. Augusta and Lionel found out about the knife-fight the previous night, in which Amato was involved. The perfect chance for Augusta to complain about his attitude. Laken is disappointed by her mother's constant insults and walks off angrily.

Quinn is having difficulties coping with the new situation after the take over. He finds out that Robert's life is much more complicated then he thought. He finds himself in situations with people, where he doesn't know the stories behind. The birds' sanctuary turned out to be a major investment for Capwell Enterprises. Julia is suspicious Mason has been making excuses about his interest supporting the environment to keep her from finding out the truth. Mack is persistent to know what is the secret about Gretchen and Harlan Richard's marriage. Eventually she told him that they hadn't made love since their wedding. Later that night, she also admitted to have strong feelings about Mack, and that she didn't plan the affair with Mack to become so serious. Gina had dinner alone at The Lair. Bunny caught her looking at some pictures. He questioned her, so Gina came out with part of the truth, that she is only doing it, so she can stay with Brandon together at the mansion. Bunny told her about the roses he has been getting for almost a week, with no card. Kelly finally made a decision. She happily announces to him that she chooses to be with him. As Robert alias Quinn stumbles, she doesn't know what to make out of the situation. He seems so strange and hesitant. He even turned down having dinner with her, over an important business meeting. This is very unlike Robert, first he pressures her and now he acts surprised. She leaves the scene very angry. Quinn is taken by surprise. He didn't know Kelly and Robert were so close. He is missing something. He calls Debra to meet him immediately. Debra meets Quinn at the Golf Club. To their bad luck Kelly is having dinner with Sister B. from the orphanage. They plan to get some information from Craig. Quinn walk over to Kelly and managed to calm the situation, by telling Kelly that he will call her tomorrow. Debra meets Craig. She tells him about the documentary she is doing on Robert and points out that there is some information she would like to have from Craig. Craig states he has nothing to say and leaves. Craig encounters strange feelings. He now knows that Kelly is turning away from him and that she wants to be with Robert.

Dash Nichols, leader of the Blue Sky Brigade is intending to stop the Oasis project. Ric disappeared. He was last seen near a gas station, asleep in the back seat of a car, driven by a blond woman. Cruz is questioning Tawny of Ric's whereabouts. Tawny tells him at first that Ric went to the environmental conference because he had a few days off. Cruz is suspicious about all this, knowing his brother had never been involved in environmental issues. Cruz decided to question Cellars, who has been held on bail, but arriving at the police station he had to find out that Cellars was bailed out. Mason persuades Steven Slade to take the $1 million he offered him and to drop the case against his father. Realizing that he doesn't have enough evidence to convict CC of the crime, he accepts Masons offer.

Cruz has a lead on Ric's disappearance. He was seen in the back of a car, driven by a blond woman. Cruz questioned Tawny one again, explaining to her that he needs to know everything she knows, assuming that Ric could be in danger. Tawny finally admitted to Cruz that Ric is been working for her father, not knowing what his job is exactly. Kelly surprises Robert with breakfast. He asks her to be patient with him and to wait until his financial problems are solved. She doesn't quite understand why he is rejecting her help, where in the past he never kept a secret about his business from her. Julia attended a Blues' conference. Dash showed her the final plan of the Oasis project. To Julia's surprise there was no tower to protect the bird sanctuary planed. She confronts Mason. Cruz received the results of the blood found on a shirt nearby where Ric and the woman where last seen. The blood found on the shirt matched Ric's blood type. Cruz calls in Richard, who strictly denies to have anything to do with the Blue Sky Brigade.

Craig mentioned to Kelly that Robert made him a business deal to help Barr Enterprise to with its financial problems. He said that this is the reason for his stay in Santa Barbara. Instead of trying to figure out who could be behind the kidnapping, the real Robert Barr has got an idea of how he can get through to Debra. Julia made very clear to Dash the leader of the Blues, that she is indeed supporting the Blues for their cause, but she also believes that Mason will come up with a solution to help save the environment. Cruz discovered that Omega Pump & Drill original was a company formed by Tonell. He threatens Robert and bargains with more information on the company, which is now being run by Barr. After this incident Quinn is desperate for some information about Robert's involvement and suggests to Flame that he has found the perfect method to make Robert talk: Kelly Capwell. Cassie reminds Craig that Kelly is in love with Robert, and if he decides to stay, he might get hurt. He explains to her that he is concerned about Kelly and not himself. Quinn mentioned casually to Kelly that Cruz came to see him and his hoping Kelly would so called 'leak information', but instead Kelly doesn't want to talk business, she persuades Quinn to have dinner with her. A cocktail reception was held for the Capwell Oasis project: The B. S. B. showed up unexpectedly and CC threatened Dash that he will have them removed from his property, if they don't leave at once. It came to an argument between Dash and CC. Mason professionally calmed the situation. He was then involved in a cross-fire interview, which despite all accusations against the project, turned into a successful evening. And CC is pleased to see his son in action, knowing what he was doing. Cruz asked Craig for a favor, as he knows that Craig has access to that spectacular company he is investigating. Cruz tells him that this is his change to prove his personality change.
