C.C., Eden and Cruz are at the Capwell mansion. Eden is crying. Boswell comes in and wants to talk to Eden, but Cruz doesn't let him do that. Later Eden and C.C. are talking while Cruz goes home and sees all the mess there. He's very upset, he just walks around and thinks about what happened to Eden. He cries. Cruz is sure that Critter is the rapist and is just about to go after him with a gun in his hand when Julia comes in. She tries to calm him and tells him not to do anything stupid because if he was put away then there would be no one to protect Eden. She also tells him that Critter's being arrested. Cruz is, once again, ready to go and kill him. C.C., Ted and Kelly are at the Mansion. Kelly goes to see Eden while C.C. and Ted talk about what happened. Sonny comes to the Mansion too and a minute after her comes Gina. She wants to see Eden but C.C. doesn't let her. Gina tries to get Sonny to defend her but he won't. Eden and Kelly are talking. Kelly seems more upset than Eden. Sonny comes in and Kelly leaves. Eden starts to cry again as she and Sonny talk. After Mason has left, Julia comes in. She and Eden talk about the baby Eden says she's going to have. Sonny comes to Gina's. Gina is angry to him because he 'betrayed' her. Sonny wants to know why C.C. wasn't such a monster to him as Gina had claimed him to be. He also wants to know why he had some feelings to these people, caring for example. Gina says that all those videos she has made have probably brainwashed Sonny. At the police station Cruz attacks Critter and Lydia's cameraman gets it all on tape. Heather comes home and finds Scott there, packing up his things. He says he's going to move out but Heather talks him out of it. Jeffrey comes to see Kelly, he's got something important to tell her. Kelly says it's going to have to wait till the next day. Jeffrey agrees and leaves. Cruz tells Eden that Critter's being arrested.

Jeffrey is in T.J.'s office, he's looking for the tapes on which he and T.J. discuss killing Kelly. T.J. comes in and the men talk about their plans. Soon Buffy comes in too, she and T.J. are going to go sailing. Cruz and Eden are at the Mansion. Eden wants to go home. Cruz agrees but wants to go there first so he can clean things up. Eden goes to see Julia. They talk about the rape and Eden wonders how to tell Cruz that she is pregnant. Cruz is still cleaning the house when Cain comes there. When Cruz sees Cain's face he asks what had happened. Cain says that he ran into a couple of guys who didn't like him. He also says that he had come to Cruz and Eden's house last night, after the rape, because he wanted to apologize them the way he had acted lately. Sonny is at Mason's office when C.C. comes there. They talk about some company; C.C. had sold its stocks when it wasn't doing well and now that it was, he wanted those stocks back and Mason had to help him with that. Sonny promises to find out what he can do about it. When C.C. leaves, Sonny phones Gina. Kelly comes to Johnny's to look for Jeffrey but he isn't there. Eden comes home. She and Cruz talk about the situation for a moment, then she goes upstairs to rest. Gina is talking with Sonny on the phone and advising him how to handle the case C.C. told him about. C.C. himself is waiting impatiently next to him. As things start to get confusing to Sonny, Julia suddenly comes in and tells him that he must come with her because there is an emergency at home. They leave the room and Sonny asks her what's wrong. Julia says she just wanted to spend some time alone with him. They start kissing. Jeffrey is in T.J.'s office again when T.J. comes in. They argue and T.J. hits Jeffrey. He falls down and loses his consciousness. T.J. sets up a robbery. Kelly comes to the Lair, looking for Jeffrey but he isn't there either. Julia gets a phone call which is about the case C.C. talked to Sonny about. After hanging up Julia tells Sonny that she's got the case now. They talk about it for a while, then Julia leaves. Sonny immediately phones Gina. He wants to know why he knew some details about the case although he had never even heard about it before this. Gina tells him that there must be an explanation for it. Heather comes to the Lair and sees Kelly there. She goes to talk to her. Suddenly Ted runs to phone the ambulance. Kelly, Heather and Scott who has just arrived ask him what's wrong. Kelly realizes something and runs to T.J.'s office where she finds Jeffrey, lying on the floor. Sonny comes to Gina's house to talk to her about those things he shouldn't know but he does. Eden tells Cruz that she is pregnant.

Eden goes to a talk show to talk about the rape. Wendy (the nurse from the hospital) comes home. When she goes to shower her house door slowly opens. The other guests of the show where Eden is going to speak about the rape are two soap opera actors: a woman (called April) who 'was raped' and a man (called Tom) who 'had raped' her. On the show they had later fell in love with each other. Boswell tells Cruz that the hair found at Cruz and Eden's house didn't match Critters hair. When Wendy comes from the shower she sees that her house door is open. She thinks she had forgot to close it and does it now. She then leaves the room. On the talk show Eden speaks her mind of what she thinks of the rape and the actors' beliefs of it. Wendy goes to her kitchen where the TV is on. Suddenly someone attacks her from behind. Cruz and Eden are talking after the show when Eden gets a phone call from a woman who had seen the program and needs Eden's help. On the phone the woman tells Eden that she was raped. Julia and Sonny talk about their wedding. The woman who phoned Eden is Wendy. Cruz and Eden take her to their house after visiting the hospital and police station first. There they talk about the rape. Cruz is going to go to Wendy's house to look for evidence and Wendy wants to come with him. Michael comes to talk to Sonny about the wedding. They start to argue about Julia and Sonny leaves. Julia comes to room and asks Michael where Mason had left. Keith and Boswell are talking about Wendy's rape when Gina calls Keith. He tells her what had happened and says she must lock the doors and windows. When Gina is doing that, Sonny comes to talk to her. Eden, Cruz and Wendy go to Wendy's house where Boswell already is. As Wendy tells him the details of the rape Eden realizes that it was the same man who raped her. After Boswell has left Eden wants to stay with Wendy for a while. Cruz promises to come back as soon as he's taken care of some things. Julia and Michael talk about Mason. Wendy finds a video tape on the table by her bed. Despite Eden's warnings she wants to watch it. Cruz too finds a video tape at his house. He puts the tape in the VCR, so does Wendy at her house. As the tapes start to roll, Cruz, Eden and Wendy all see that they are filmings of Eden's and Wendy's rapes.

Eden tells Cruz that the person who phoned her was the rapist. The next thing the camera shows is Phillip putting down the receiver (he's obviously just made a phone call) and smiling. Gina phones Julia and tells her that Mason's drunk at the Lair. Ted and Phillip are talking about some business things at Phillip's house. Phillip asks Ted how Eden is doing and they talk about the rape until all of a sudden Cain rushes in. Cruz phones the station to get all calls to his house traced. Cain tells Phillip to stop interfering his life or else Cain will kill him. Julia comes to the Lair and finds Gina there. She says she doesn't know where Mason has left. Keith takes passed out Sonny to Julia's house. Ted tells Cruz about Cain's visit at Phillip's house. He says that Cain seemed to be ready to do anything. Eden tells Cruz that she will carry a gun from now on. Julia comes home and finds Sonny there. They talk and Julia asks him if there's anything he'd like to tell her. Sonny admits that he had kissed Gina. Cain is sharpening his knife when Cruz comes to see him. They talk about the rape. The things Cain says make it look like he had had something to do with the rape. The rapist is watching Eden on TV. Cruz tells Cain that Eden's pregnant. After the news broadcast Eden tells her guard that he can leave as she is expecting Cruz to come there soon. The man insists to wait until that but needs to make a phone call first. Eden tells him to call from her office and says she's going to wait for him in the lobby. In the elevator Eden meets Phillip. They are going down when suddenly the elevator stops and the lights go out. A man from FBI comes to get some things (like keys to safety boxes, stocks etc.) from Keith. Julia and Sonny are having a conversation about their feelings for each other. It ends to that they both get upset and Sonny leaves. Cruz comes to pick up Eden but Brent tells him that she's probably already in the elevator. Inside it, Eden starts to panic. Suddenly Phillip says something that the rapist had said on the phone. Eden realizes who he must be, pulls the gun out of her bag and points it at Phillip telling him not to move.

Scott gets his father's hospital bill. He tells Heather that he can't afford to pay it. Heather says she can lend him the money for it. Gina wants to know what is going on with Keith and the FBI. Sonny wakes up having a terrible hangover. Cruz meets Zack on the beach. They talk about the paternity test which would tell who the father of Eden's baby is. Suddenly they hear Eden screaming in her house. Cruz and Zack run there just in time to see two policemen holding a man they said was on the roof. The man says he has come to install the alarm system but refuses to do it after how he had been treated. Zack suggests that Eden and Cruz go somewhere for the day. Scott tells Heather he won't take her money. Julia tells Sonny that if he won't give up drinking then he'd better leave. Scott meets Tori at Johnny's. He tells her that Arthur had fired him. Sonny goes to see Gina. He tells her what Julia had said about his drinking. At the hospital Tori asks Arthur to reconsider firing Scott. Arthur says he will. When Tori has left Heather comes to see her father. She asks him to give Scott his job back. Arthur promises to do that if Heather will spend more time with Zack. While Cruz and Eden are on the picnic the rapist is in their house. Heather agrees to his father's proposition. Keith goes to his office where Sam Hastings, the man from the state attorney general's office is collecting Keith's papers and files. Heather promises Zack to help him arranging a party. Arthur tells Tori he had decided to give Scott his job back and asks her if she wants to come with him when he'll go to tell Scott the news later that night. She does. Cruz and Eden come home. Cruz goes to shower and Eden starts to watch a video she had taped earlier. But when she puts the VCR on it isn't her video that shows up on the screen. It's the rapist's voice at the same time when there are flashes of some women's pictures. Sonny admits to Julia that he's an alcoholic and says that he doesn't want to lose her. Arthur and Tori go to tell Scott the good news. He's happy and asks Heather if she knew about it. She says she didn't. Cruz tells Eden that when they'll get the alarm system, the rapist isn't going to get in their house anymore. At the same time the rapist is looking at them on his monitor (he has put a video camera in Eden and Cruz's living room ceiling).

Keith finishes his good bye letter. Brandon, sent by Gina to seek a wine bottle at the Capwells, releases CC and Mason from the cellar. Michael tells Julia that Mason has changed and does not like her as he once did. When Mason returns home, he asks Michael to leave. Sophia agrees to spend the evening with CC. After showering Gina with gifts, Keith prepares a candlelight dinner. They sleep together and after Gina falls asleep Keith leaves. Upon returning home, Eden and Cruz discover a macabre scene with a mannequin lying on the ground meant to be Eden...

In the early morning, Gina discovers the letter from Keith that Brandon had already read. An agent of the F.B.I. questions them where Keith might have fled. Michael refuses a donation from his father for the restoration of his parish. Julia, Sonny and Samantha walk along the beach then, once returning, discover Kris Kringle in their house. He calls Mason Sonny before disappearing mysteriously. Sonny goes to Gina where he asks her why he has memories of last Christmas with Julia and who he is really. Dr. Arthur Donnelly invites Victoria to dine at his place and embraces her. Eden tells Lydia that she is pregnant but makes her promise to maintain the secret. Cruz learns that fingerprints could be identified on the mannequin. He finds the suspect, but discovers that it is only the mannequin's manufacturer. During this time, Eden receives several calls from the rapist who is ready to attack again. Lieutenant Boswell, who remained with her, hears a noise outside. He comes out and is struck by an unknown person dressed in black. When Eden understands that the call that she receives is a recording, it is already too late: the rapist returned in the house...

Eden surprises her attacker with a weapon. But the arrival of Cruz distracts her and makes it possible for the rapist to escape. However Eden succeeded in wounding him while drawing blood that could be analyzed by the police. On the beach, Boswell stops Cain who, dressed in black and a hood in his hand, is bleeding on the arm. Heather surprises Julia in the arms of Michael at the time when this one had just stumbled of a scale. Victoria resists the advances of Arthur and ends up accepting his excuses. Arthur receives a visit from a nurse friend whose brother has AIDS. Sonny requests of Gina to arrange an appointment for him with Mason. Gina tells in Heather that Brandon was again a victim of split personality in order to obtain from her information on the methods of curing schizophrenia. She takes Sonny along to a hotel room and tells him to await Mason there. Thanks to a cassette that Gina plays during his sleep, Sonny thinks he is speaking with Mason who tells him that Sonny Sprockett was in fact his imaginary playmate when he was six years old. Eden receives a new call from the rapist. But he blunders while speaking about the color of the dressing gown which Eden is wearing. While searching the house, Cruz discovers there a camera which has spied on them for days and destroys it with a bullet of a gun...

Julia is made show by Gina to want to destroy his life like that of Brandon. She learns afterwards from CC that it is he who is behind the investigation on the embezzlements of Keith. He also plans to take away Brandon from Gina. At the clinic, Heather accomodates Carla, a sixteen year old who wishes to have an abortion. But Michael, while trying to dissuade her, frightens her and makes her flee. Bunny Tagliatti, accompanied by a bodyguard, arrives at Gina's. Obviously rich, he rents from Brandon the four rooms of the mansion. Jeffrey is sequestered by the rapist with the video which was introduced in its residence and pulls him from his wheelchair. When Kelly returns to him, the rapist brutally seizes her by the back...

Kelly realizes that Jeffrey, who is taken to the hospital, is quite able to hear her and that he tried to inform of the danger while playing with the remote control of television. With new, he is threatened by T.J. in his room. Michael brings Carla to the hospital, who is bleeding after attempting an abortion on her own under bad conditions. Arthur succeeds in saving her, but reproaches Michael to be responsible for her state because he had been opposed to Heather dealing with it. Eden receives another telephone call from the rapist, but this time the call could be traced. Cruz, Eden, Vic and Lydia go in the warehouse of the video rapist. Eden discovers behind a curtain a shrine to her...

Eden again has a nightmare about her rape. She has visions of the rapist thereafter. After the Carla business, Michael called to Heather that he wishes to leave the priesthood. He announces his decision with the bishop, but the bishop refuses to accept it. He excuses his feelings for Julia and advises him to deal with Carla. Michael accepts to lead her to the catholic church Saint Cecile. Zack invites Heather to lunch. While C.C. hires a detective to find the rapist, Gina receives a notice to turn over to authorities her personal correspondence with Keith...

Cain invites Andrea to the fancy-dress ball of Halloween which takes place that evening, but she refuses. Heather is angry at his father who put Scott on call for the evening. Vic Boswell, persuaded that Cain is the rapist, asks Lydia Saunders to keep an eye on him during the ball. Eden ends up convincing Cruz to agree to go there although the idea that the rapist may be present displeases him. At the Country Club, the evening finally starts. T.J., which tries to frighten Kelly, is thrown out by CC's men. Called at the hospital, Zack must leave Heather, but she is soon joined by Scott who succeeds in being replaced. Cain, which discovers that Andrea came in company from Cruz and Eden, is furious against her. She tells him that all is finished between them. On the point to explode, Cain prefers to go outside to get some fresh air. On the beach where she has come out to think, Andrea is attacked by a man dressed in black...

Andrea is left for dead on the beach. Kelly, who believes to have seen a man in black in the restroom, informs Cruz. But it is only Gina, disguised as a Count Dracula. Scott proposes to Heather to finish the evening at his place. A whole Chinese decoration, adapted to the topic of their costumes, awaits Heather there. They make love. Cruz and Vic Boswell discover Philip Hamilton, a knife in his hand, in front of the dead body of Andrea. He says that it has just withdrawn the knife of the body of the victim. Of return to the party, Cruz announces the death of Andrea to Eden and Cain, then puts and end to the evening. At the police station, Cruz, Vic and Julia question Cain then Major Hamilton. He seems convinced that the rapist is Cain...

Since Andrea did not have any more close family, Cain asks Cruz and Eden to help him to organize her funeral. Eden asks CC to provide her the guest list of the evening as well as the detail of all the comings and goings. But as she knows each name, Cruz makes her admit that the rapist is in this case somebody which they know. CC, being at the origin of the evening which attracted the rapist, feels responsible for the death of Andrea. He is comforted by Sophia. Questioned relentlessly by Vic Boswell, Cain strikes him in the face. But Julia agrees not to prosecute him for that, invoking the anger of Boswell who sees there a kind of immunity for Cain because of his links with Capwell. Heather sees of an evil eye the friendship which links her father and Victoria during a charity sale to the Michael's new parish. Sonny speaks to Gina about his apprehension to marry Julia. He imagines a fantasy marriage where it is he who marries Julia and... Father Michael! By leaving the Country Club where she has just had words with T.J., Sophia seems followed by somebody...

Cain abruptly shows Lydia out the door of his place. She warns Vic Boswell that Cain is about to leave the city. Discovering finger marks on his arm, Vic understand that Cain had a struggle and decides to go to search at his place. In the presence of Cruz, he discovers the towel with Eden's initials hidden by Philip Hamilton. Sonny explains to Gina why he was involved in a poker debt and signed an acknowledgement of debt in the name of... Sonny Sprockett! He persuades Bunny to help him face Mickey at poker in order to recover his money. Arthur Donnelly invites his children to dine at the Orient Express to try to reconcile with them. But the dinner occurs once again with clashes. Convened at the police station, Eden recognizes the towel that she had used to clean her wounds the day of the rape. After Sonny asked him to be his witness of his marriage, CC accompanies Sophia back to her hotel room. But on returning, she is attacked by a masked man...

Sophia succeeds in escaping her room, but the rapist chases after her. CC, who returned to see her, calls the police and runs through the hotel after Sophia. When he finds them, the rapist, in a hurry due to the police sirens, flees by leaving Sophia on the ground, healthy and safe. On returning to his place, Cain is confronted by two police officers who shoot at him to stop. Wounded, he flees to Eden. She has just learned that her towel was found at Cain and does not manage to hide her fear in front of him. Cruz and the police arrives when Cain forces Eden to convince them of his innocence. At the hospital Michael meets Eliott Larson, the patient of his father. But he does not manage to convince him to recontact his parents. At the Lockridge residence, Sonny and Gina once again discuss the ceremony to come when someone knocks on the door: it is Augusta Lockridge, returning to Santa Barbara for the marriage of her sister. She offers 1000 dollars to Gina to stay in one of the rooms. With Sonny, Augusta returns to visit Julia. She asks her whether she is happy and Julia does not seem sure of it.

Michael wants Julia as his lawyer; he has been arrested by Ethan. Julia suspects Mason is spending the weekend with Lisa. Lisa tells Celeste that she has a drinking problem. Scott and Celeste talk about their former lovers, what makes Celeste feeling very uncomfortable. Gina has her eye on Bunny, but so does Vanessa. Ethan hears Laura calling for Jamie in her sleep.

Julia discovers that Mason and Lisa have lied about their plans for the weekend. She fears the worst, but is beginning to understand everything when she finds Mason and Lisa at an meeting of the AA. Eden lies to Cruz and goes to Paris. She knows he doesn't believe her dreams about Adriana's whereabouts. Scott worries about Heather when she faints at the clinic.

Saundra has a vision of Cruz in trouble. Cruz has followed a lead about Adriana. Eventually, both are being held hostage by criminals. Julia tells Lisa she had a father who had drinking problems.
